718-906-8732 calls my home countless times a day and its nothing but dead air. Its been very annoying.

Never had a problem with them, ever. They have saved me over $500 in the past year on my power and gas bill. Whomever is complaining, it appears, must always complain about something. BGE has charged me a "indeterminate" rate for my service. Mind you, they still provide all of the service, and a fine job, too. But I am relieved that I don't have to subscribe to a monopoly to retain my heat, light, etc. If you're not ignorant, view your bill thoroughly and compare. Would you rather pay industry retail rates for power, gas, etc? (Spikes in demand, industry fluctuations or max usage in summer months ) Or pay a lower, fixed, consistent wholesale rate all year long? Think mortgage rates, people! Do you want an ARM? Or a fixed rate? No brainer, if you ask me. Free savings. Or, you can continue to let the monopoly thrive, you can complain, and keep the costs for our energy rising. Smart people do the former rather than the latter. Sounds like a lot of people undeducated about how power and gas companies work just wanting to complain about a a tough bill. Try shutting a light off every now and then.

Forget them, switch to www.powerswitchsavings.com instead, they don't make telemarketing calls, they donate to charity, and they pay you for switching or getting your friends and family to and are on the Forbes best company list.

This company "Bloomsbury NJ" as it shows on caller id 908-388-1152  is blatantly ignoring the do not call list and the law that does not allow automated calls for telemarketing either. Their computer must have called me 5 times today alone trying to get me to switch my electric due to deregulated energy.

Screw them I already switched to www.powerswitchsavings.com I get low rates, paid $50 for switching and earn from people I tell about it that switch over to. I'm sick of all the unreputable companies out there and all their telemarketers or just illegal business practices harassing me daily.

I have no problem using my real name since I turned them into the BBB. I have Oasis and I am not happy. They are rude on the phone when you want to cancel. They told me I would save 20% off my bill when I am paying 10% above Pennsylvania Power and Lights. Then they said I verbally signed a contract for 2 years and I dont remember saying they are my company for 2 years after they told me I could switch back any time but I will recieve a lower rate than PPL for 2 years. There has been over 12 complaints in the past year from 3.2011 to 11.2011 and mine will make 13. They have a F rating with the BBB.Do not use them

I received a phone call from this number too...it is OASIS Energy company. They are a phishing third party company and beware of it.  They try to ask you for information from your Con Edison energy bill- DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY OF THIS INFORMATION, because they will automatically switch your energy bill.  If you do switch by mistake, quickly call Con Edison, inform them of the mistake and have Con Edison freeze your account. Also, call back OASIS and immediately cancel. You may have to call back a few times, since their call center will delay in answering, but try to quickly cancel.  They are frauds...beware.

They called me and completely fooled me that they were from Con Ed. and that they would lower my bill by 8% and against my will put me in a contract for 2 years. Gave me a cancellation number and order number to call within 3 days  to cancel. I came across this forum and immediately called up to cancel and they said call us back in 3 days as your name is not in the system yet. How can I call them back in 3 days when I have to cancel within 3 days??? It was so frustrating and I know they will charge me switching rates. The Company may not be bad but the sales reps are total con men. If anything happens to you like this please call Con Ed and block your account immediately so that they cannot switch you and charge the switching back fee. Worst was if you switch back you have to pay them 10 dollars per month for the next two years.

Keeps calling. Who is it?

They are calling me every day. I tell them to take me off the call list and they say I may receive calls until I am removed from list. The operators are usually so robotic and rude, telling me to grab my phone bill for the account number and calling me by my first name. Having a land line phone can be so annoying....

I got this call today, I told them to call back tonight and the guy said he couldn't cause he would probably be getting drunk tonight with his friends... but... how do they have by name, address, etc?

This seems like a huge scam, they have called me several times to say I got benefits from Con Ed, they said they were going to remove the cost of my 'Merchant function charge', I looked at my bill and see it is $0.  They wanted my account number, I was like $ell no.  Tell these people you decline, it seems really fishy.  They better never call me again.

Got a call from them asking about the "energy bill" it is very annoying

The caller told me he was from Con Ed but I did not give him the information he asked for.

i have received 9 messages from this number in the past 3 days.  who are they?  Has anyone been able to find and stop them?  always dead air.

They are so annoying. They call me three times a day. When I pick up, they don't say anything and never leave the message.

They used to call us once a week. And the message is always dead air. The only time they have called when I was home, I picked up and it seems to be some sort of energy company. Now that I have picked up they call us multiple times a day. It stinks.

they call about once a day.  i never answer.  i don't have an answering machine so i don't know if they would leave a message.  but thanks to posts online i know not to answer!

I just got a call from this number as well.
So annoying!  They never speak, and never leave a message.
Some one should set up a system that calls this number back constantly all day everyday.
Until either their phone line gets flooded, burnt out or simply malfunctions.

There should be something that should be done to stop all these unwanted calls.
Putting yourself on the "Do Not Call List", simply is not an efficient means of doing so.

It is Oasis Energy (http://www.oasisenergy.com/) - I think they are calling to get you to switch to them on your Con Ed bill. I get a lot of these calls as a result of the deregulated energy industry. Hard to know which small company to trust. I have heard about lock-in periods, switching costs etc. and it is difficult to know whether the savings they promise are real...
