Received several calls from this number, answered the first time with only an open line on the other end, hung up and after that just did not answer any longer. These people should be fine for not abiding by the no call lists.

I got a call from this number, and will be blocking it.

Call from a "Colorado" number on my CELL; no message left. Really pisses me off that these lowlifes can keep calling on a cell phone....that is illegal under any circumstances, but the calls just keep coming. And I have to pay for the minutes used. So.... to whoever in the FBI or anybody else who's monitoring MY calls: DO SOMETHING ABOUT THESE IDIOTS!!!

do not want calls from this number
Bridgett 2013-08-06 19:37:45 Unknown
Me too! I got 4 calls in one minute. I just hang them up because even if they were legit, I would go through my credit card company, not them. Although one time I did press 1 so that I could tell them to stop calling me, and then it hung up. About an hour later I got a call (presumably from the same 'company') but I was busy and couldn't understand what he was saying anyway, so I told him I wasn't interested and hung up.

I didn't pick up but returned the call immediately and a recording said the number has been disconnected.

Another one of the spoofed numbers used by the "card services" scammers in their attempts to rip us off. Google my name to learn how to stop their annoying calls, while also having some fun!

Unfortunately there are many different groups using the same bogus line of lowering interest on credit card debt--but they all have one thing in common--fooling the unsuspecting into giving them their credit card number so they can apply large unwarranted charges to it. It was stated in the Oct-Nov 2012 issue of the AARP Bulletin that the majority of the people hired to do the calling by the scam operators are either drug addicts, felons, or both. They "work" on a commission basis, ripping people off to support their addictions. People that have spoken to these lowlifes should have no trouble determining what type of person (creature) they are speaking with, considering the obscene language they commonly use. This particular scam has been going on for years, and will continue until the people that are vulnerable are made aware of it. These, and many other scammers, prey mainly on the elderly and the gullible.

Called but didn't leave a msg. It is a CO number though. Possibly a cell? Not too sure.
phonespamsuks 2013-08-06 16:11:34 Unknown
Called on my cell phone, no one on other end when I answered, left no msg. I set my phone to hide my number and called back and got a recording saying that this was a disconnected number and that it belongs to Verizon wireless.
It's just another SPOOFED number so that "they" can bother you. Nothing can be done about this.

Other than blocking their phone number (if your phone has that capability), reporting it to your phone carrier, and getting on the no call list there is little that can be done to stop this type of harassment. Even doing all three of those things won't stop this crap completely. But if you don't do anything else don't fail to report it to your phone carrier. They will investigate and then block any particular number if/when necessary. But even at that, scummers will just spoof another number and keep up their scumming.

Just got a call from them at 10:40am on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 on my cell phone. Simple silence when I answered so I hung up.

Just got call from this #, no msg. How to stop them calls??
abc 2013-08-06 15:51:34 Unknown
My guess is that the people calling are people that signed up for a work from home Craigslist job and don't even know that they are part of a scam. They are reading scripts, getting paid, and turning a blind eye to whoever put this scheme together.
abc 2013-08-06 15:48:44 Unknown
Total scammers... They don't tell you what credit card company they are associated with and don't even tell you the name of their company in their automated message or when a person picks up the phone.
It is fairly obvious that they are scammers. I don't have credit card debt so when they implied that I had over $3k in cc debt and my cc company put me up for review, it was another sign that it was a scam.
What is horrible as that this is so obvious that this is a scam, only desperately indebted people would gloss over these signs and provide their info. Preying on the weak.

Called mobile phone & left no message... phone spam! Colorado area code.
Happy John 2013-08-05 21:08:01 Unknown
They called my cell phone. Didn't answer and whoever it was didn't leave a message.
It seems when I'm in a metropolitan (100K+ population) area I receive more of these calls than when I am in a rural area (<30K population). Of course, I blame Obama and NSA snooping...
Tom 2013-08-05 20:17:03 Unknown
The callers are the drug-addicted "card services" scammers, who call us, pretending to be associated with our credit card companies, in an attempt to fool us into giving them our credit card numbers so they can rip us off. People that have given their card number to these junkies have suffered severe financial losses. Beware of these lowlifes, and warn others, before they are cheated!
Rae 2013-08-05 19:52:27 Unknown
It's an automated message about lowering the interest rate on my credit card (I don't have any credit cards!) and to press '1' to speak with an operator. Once you say either "stop calling me", or "I don't have a credit card", they simply, and rudely, hang up on you.
