2.14.13 received a call from this number, claiming I filled in a survey about a job, when I told him that I did not and asked what name was on the survey--he proceeded to talk about "free education" opportunity, he would not reply to name on the survey---I hung up. Identified the company as WGS or WGA a career matching company.

Just received a call from this number, gave me the same line about the survey and job hunt. Then when he asked for my date of birth I asked him to explain again where he was xalling from and what survey it was and he said sorry I can't help you and hung up. So if they are getting info from career builders or other job sites I question the security of the job sight

Got a call at 5:25 from this number. No message left. Apparently it's another spammer, judging from all the comments here for that number. I'm glad I missed the call!

the guy said I filled out a survery saying I wanted a call back to see if I qualify for open jobs in my area. I don't take online surveys. Said he was from WNPositions. I said I didn't fill anything out and he insisted I did. I told him I was not interested and hung up on him. He called my cell phone

Just got a call from this guy as well, when I told him I didn't have any idea what the call was in relation to, he said "We'll try back again later" and hung up.
Between this, and spam texts I'm considering cutting my cellphone number and just using google voice.

I answered when it called. Dead air for a few seconds, then an automated lady saying goodbye. Very strange.

Got a call from it. I did not answer and not message was left. If they call back oh well. I will just block the number!

Called back just to see what they said after reading the responses on this page.
It was a recorded message that says "Thank you for calling W N Positions, We called because while you were online you indicated you were looking for work" blah blah blah (sorry if my wording is not exact but it's pretty close and obviously truncated due to the lack of interest... It also said if you no longer wish to be called press 9 either way they have verified my number to be a live number and there ain't nothing I can do about it.

He called my 13 year old daughter's unlisted number. She hung up thankfully. Definitely a scam artist.

I use Google Voice as my primary phone number that I give out. Literally ZERO people have the actual number of my cell phone, so I knew better to answer when this call came in on my phones actual phone number versus the Google Voice number. No one left a message - glad I didn't waste a minute.

Didn't answer and looked up the number...i am glad i didn't answer))

Here is how it works: You go to any job-search site like CareerBuilder to search for jobs. When you send a resume to apply for any listed on the site, they collect your phone number off your resume. Then affiliates from the site make those annoying "hang-up" calls, just to verify your number is a "live" number. (If your number is on the "do-not-call" list, they will usually just do a verify & hang-up.)Then they add it to their "active phone number" lists, which they "share" (sell) to telemarketing companies What a scam, eh?
The "online survey" scam they refer to is actually on a site like "CareerBuilder", etc. where they automatically add you to their "email notification" system...where you get constant email alerts from the reps on the site sending you jobs listed that "match" your qualifications...and that are "interested in you". Most of them are jobs that have nothing to do with your expertise, they are just annoying emails from the site reps on commission for job matches they fill. You need to opt out of the email notification at the bottom of those emails. I also advised them in the opt-out that I would take legal action against them for "sharing" any of my personal information. All the emails and phone calls stopped...go figure, eh? lol

| James Smith 2013-02-07 19:04:23 Unknown |
Called claiming that I took a job survey and that they had a job opertunity for me. Then they shifted to educational offers. When I said that I did not want to go to school they said that you are not qualified for the job and hung up.

Was WN Positions.....Not sure how "legit" it is, though I am unemployed and need to find employment, I feel that it's completely and utterly BOGUS!!!

A guy that sounded like a recorder instead of a real person asking if I filled out a survey (which I didn't) regarding jobs in my local area and for a WM gift card.
Wouldn't let me off the phone until I kept repeating that I was on the DNC list....and never fill out surveys.

Just got a call from this number that I didn't pick up in time. Caller left no message. Considering how many posts on this site are about recent calls from this clown they are apparently working very hard to try to scam people!

Got a call at 4:21 pm 02-06-2013 on my cell. A computer voice was telling me that I submitted an on-line survey for the free job match. I have a good job and I did not submit any surveys. He asked me some jopb-search questions and then about my birthdate and name (first and last) and after I refused to say my name he hung up.

2/6/2013 3:20pm Received a call on my WORK CELL PHONE from 7203625008. Man said he was calling from WN Positions about a survey I filled out on line, looking for a new job. I asked, "What survey?". He said, "The one you filled out on line looking for a new job." I said, "I didn't fill out a survey. When do you think I did this survey." He asked me, "Don't you want a new job?". I replied, "No I don't." He hung up.
