I received a spam message from 720-378-3970. The message says, "Do you need up to $1300.00 today? It's sucure and just takes minutes... Write STOP to remove more alerts." It gave the website where I would go to to get $1300.00. I am not sure it's even a good thing to text STOP to a spam message. I think it's best to not reply at all and to report them or call the 1-800 OPT OUT number or whatever number takes your cell phone number off the list for telemarketing messages.

I got the same mesage and like others do not have an account with them. My text message came through about 9 pm and prompted me to call at the 720-378-3670 number. I called it and got an automated activation line. I hung up because I figured no bank would be open that late. I just tried calling it again during business hours and the number is disconnected? I googled New Horizons Community CU and a location came up in my town who I called and it ended up being ENT Federal Credit Union. They indicated that it was a scam that they never send this type of information through text messages.

Got this message on 26 May, from St. Vrain CU. Like others, I don't have a card there, and am not even sure the CU exists.

Same text message to me, never even heard of New Horizons until I googled them and found they have been bought out by Security Service Credit Union. This text message appears to be a phishing attempt. I am in Computer Information Systems Security, and in any case Security Service C.U Informed me that they would NOT use the name New Horizons.

My husband and I both got the same text message, with this number, saying a card was de-activated...
A card we don't have, that doesn't exist.
Spam, definitely.
