Called to have a message get to my sister...weird...gets more strange...I didn't answer my phone and 2 seconds later...My wife's phone rings!

The company was ARC.  The woman couldn't tell me the reason she was calling for(because they're bound by laws).

I'm simply going to hang up if they ever call again...either phone...can't give me information, I can't help you out!

This post is old, but I have some info on this company, I got a call from these guys today, about a debt they supposedly owned, they even told me who the original creditor was, but when I asked for a debt validation letter the girl I spoke to got very angry and said she would put in a request and then wished me luck, so that raised huge red flags.  I pulled my credit report and the debt was on there, but not for Alpha it was listed under the original creditor.  That made me even more suspicious and I looked up the number for the original creditor, and when I spoked to them they told me they still owned the debt that it had not been sold to anyone else, and they would send me a DVL so that I can arrange payment on the debt assuming when I get it that it is actually mine.  It seems like this Alpha place is a scam to me.

Received a message from Alpha Recovery insisting I call back "today". have not called back yet
