NO the Denver Post has never charged you for something you haven't ordered

The company is called Sullivan Promotions. We have been the marketing company for the Denver Post for over 30 years. Please please read this people. We work off on automated calling system. If you're number is in one of our campaigns you will most likely be called every day until you speak to a rep up to 2 times a day. By law we are not allowed to leave messages. Our office hours range from 8:30 A.M. to 7:45 P.M. It is impossible for us to call you before or after those hours. As an employee there let me tell you that we do not like calling you repeatedly any more than you like seeing our name on the caller ID over and over again. We work off of commision and don't like to waste time. If you would like the calls to stop please just politely answer the phone and ask to be taken off the list. Screaming at us because we have called 10 times and you have never answered the phone to tell us you are not interested is not our faults. The main line to the office is actually 303-984-5525. Any other line will lead you to a subline that will NOT go to the voicemail box, just incase we are busy and cannot answer the phone. I know that telemarketers are not the most fun people in the world but remember we are trying to provide for ourselves and out families. Its not our goal to make you angry, just to give you the opportunity to be provided with a service.

We are a company that has been in business for 30+ years. Not everyone goes on the internet for business. We are the Denver Posts top call center and have been supplying jobs to many over the years, something the internet cannot do. We are and always have been a reputable marketing firm. Please research the company before you make assumptions.

Also we can't help of we call people who are subscribed to the digital. We have no way of knowing that previous to our call. We can only look that up once the call is already started. It's just as obnoxious for us to call someone who is already subscribed as it is for you to receive the call because we work off commission. Unfortunately when the Denver Post makes our calling lists a computer just goes through and pulls people who aren't receiving the paper which is logged in a separate way then people who receive the digital so all the computer sees is your not receiving the paper. Usually if you just answer and tell us you receive it digitally we will make sure it's going well for you and take you off the list

I actually work for this company and we by law put everyone on the DNC list who asks. But we do not generate our own call lists. That comes from the Denver Post directly so we don't control if you come up in multiple campaigns

Thanks to the person on another site who supplied the number 303-984-4650. It is a direct line to Sullivan Promotions. They said they were calling to offer subscriptions to the Denver Post OR the Colorado Springs Gazette. I have never subscribed to either of those papers and live outside the subscription area for both. I told them that, and they said politely that they would immediately remove my number from their list, so it's worth a try to call that number. We'll see if they actually stop calling.

Glad to know it's the Denver Post, though that's a little puzzling, because I've never subscribed to the Denver Post and for the last six years have lived outside of their subscription area. It says Sullivan Promos on the caller ID for me as well.

Got a call from this number, it said "Sullivan Promos" on the caller ID. I hit the speakerphone button to answer but said nothing, to hear what they would say. Silence. I waited a few beats and hung up. Makes sense that it's the Post, though they are being stupid. I switched from paper delivery to their digital replica edition so I AM still a subscriber. If they keep calling they will p*ss me off and I'll probably stop my current digital subscription.

This number keeps calling, but when I answer no one is there. They don't leave messages either. Glad to know it's a Denver Post number. I just cancelled my subscription a few weeks ago, so I guess that's why they are calling...

It is the Denver Post like everyone has said. They used to call 4 to 5 times in a row, in one day. Never leave a message. They haven't called me in about a year now but the would call at 7am on weekends! That's when I snapped and asked them to NEVER call me again. Their calls have put a bad taste in my mouth regarding the Denver Post. Now they are calling me again?! They are out of control!

This was the Denver Post. Very polite, offering a special deal on subscriptions. I don't like phone solicitors, but I am a former subscriber and have sympathy for ANY newspaper these days. Told them no interest and said goodbye.

This number has been calling my cell everyday for 2 weeks.

Dumbace company obvious they are totally desperate to stay in business but they need to get creative on the internet rather than using 20thcentury telemarketing techniques/aka irritating you will not get buyers in todays world...get a clue or hire a reputable marketing firm..guess thats obviously in the budget when top brass at the post are raking it in. Ugh

You can also call them back "on their direct line" so if you have trouble reaching them on the first number, try this one: 303-984-4650. They call between 8am and 9am and leave "blank" voice messages. They do not answer the phone professionally but rather with "Hello" and do not disclose the business name.
I get the newspaper for free (never subscribed) and will not do business with telemarketers - ever.
Laura 2013-04-23 16:08:47 Unknown
They keep calling every day, this is my private phone!!! I do not want my number given out!
B 2013-04-19 16:12:47 Unknown
This number is from a call center for The Denver Post...they are notorious for all but harassing current or previous subscribers...like the worst. I've told them to lose my number for like 3 years and they somehow conveniently never have a record of such a request. I just block them now.
Shed 2013-04-11 15:58:43 Unknown
I signed up for the Denver Post in Jan and cancelled after one month. No time to read the paper, but really....even if I did find the time later this year, after getting the calls once, sometimes, twice a day - EVERY DAY - and never a message.... I don't think I'll ever do business with the Denver Post again.
tcroo 2013-04-09 01:19:57 Unknown
AHA!! thanks sooo much! that was driving me crazy. I recently cancelled my Denver Post
Brat03 2013-04-03 14:53:03 Unknown
Thanks!
Brat03 2013-04-03 14:52:06 Unknown
Numerous calls from this number. No one is there when I answer. I cannot call back - I get a fast busy signal. Whomever they are, it needs to just stop!
Gary Held 2013-04-02 17:17:36 Unknown
720-644-4468 is the Denver Post subscription department.
Gary Held 2013-04-02 17:16:15 Unknown
This is the Denver Post. I put a block on the number, and finally got an answer when I called back (after a number of attempts). You must have cancelled your subscription... they go nuts to get you back.
John 2013-04-02 00:43:13 Unknown
It's the Denver Post
Malinda 2013-03-31 09:18:21 Unknown
This number calls me, too, a few times every week. No message. Nobody will talk when I answer. Don't these people have anything better to do? What a waste of human life!
rmhenry 2013-03-30 15:14:28 Unknown
Calls every morning between 8:00 and 9:00 Never leaves a message and usually calls a second time about 20 minutes after the first call.
Jumpkick Jones 2013-03-28 23:58:15 Unknown
Repeated calls from this number. No messages left and no reason for this number to be calling. I can't find any info about this number anywhere on the net.
