Automotive Warranty.  When I asked the name of the company, they hung up on me.  I have received 6 calls from this company, from various phone numbers in the last month.

Auto warrenty, final notice, you must renew, press 1 for a live operator....I did, and when I asked for a supervisor, they hung up.

Didn't answer and no message left.  Starting getting these calls after I listed vehicle for sale on autotrader.com

Have called a few times, but I have not answered.

got a call from this number yesterday...did not answer and they did not leave a message

called by this number to my cellular phone. Didn't answer, no voicemail left. Yesterday I got a call from 800-300-4000, which is also a telemarketing scam number. Looks like people are getting desparate if they are ignoring cell phone anti-telemarketing laws.

Don't know what the scam is. Don't know anyone in this area code.

Received call from this number and answered the phone.  Automated message about a car warranty.  It gave me an option to be removed from the list by pressing "2", but when I did the line hung up.  Not sure if this took me off of the list or not.

Rec'd a call from this number on my cell phone.  Didn't answer and no message just like everyone else.

Called two of our Sprint cell phones within 90 minutes.  Didn't answer.  No message left.

Call to cell - no message left.  Ironically, I didn't start getting these "spam" calls on my cell phone until AFTER I signed up for the national call list!! Now I get a few of these types of calls each week!

B*****ds just called from this number and caller ID says brenda pluger. Pissed off because this is a cell phone and I pay for the minutes. What can be done?

Some kind of warrranty offer. I tried dialing 0 to speak to someone, but it hung up.

I just received a call from this person.  She called herself Rhonda and said the call was very important.  She gave me the number for Carlsbad, CA vistors center.  She said to call (800)227-5722.

Is it illegal for telemarketers to show up as a private person's name on Caller ID? If you google this number it comes up with the Brenda Puga as the name (w/ phone number and address).

I can understand if she is a rep for the company, but to use an automated script and then to be a "sales representative", seems a bit unscrupulous. I thought it may have been an individual dialing the wrong number.

I've seen several companies that show up this way, even a collection agency, which is deceiving, especially when you are on the do not call list or have request not to be contacted (at work, for instance).
