They called twice.  My caller i.d. didn't show the area code, only "725-7021."  I answered the first call and it was about a job fair at a local hotel.  (I didn't answer the second call and they didn't leave a message.)  I could barely hear the woman on the phone.  She sounded irritated and uninterested in her job and also like she was calling from India.  She gave me some basic info about the job fair (time, place) and I asked her if there was a website and she gave it to me.  (DiversityJobFairs.com)  Then she pressured to me say that I'd attend.

I went to the website and found this info.

If you look under the "Testimonials" section everything sounds too good to be true.  The quotes from the well-known companies aren't attributed to any one person...just someone at the company.

I have no idea if this is for real or what it is.  It just didn't sound right.

I have been receiving calls from this same number every day no one ever answers when I say hello I have no idea but I have called my phone provider who assures me that they will find the area code for me since the number comes up on the caller ID as "out-of-area" 725-7021, after researching this number myself It seems to be a landline I only found one entry that shows it as a Marketing company I'll post again after the phone company sends me the information

My cell phone was off when they called me so they left a message.  It was a vaguely female voice with, perhaps, a Slavic accent.  She asked for me by name but mispronounced it.  I guess she didn't understand the "You have reached the voicemail of..." message.  As mentioned above, there was a lot of background noise.

Me too,  sounded like an Irish accent this time, he knew my name but whe I asked "who's this" I heard a high pitched beep and he hung up.  How do we get these to stop?

I hate getting calls from this number.

I keep getting these stupid calls from these people. Everytime I try to call them back, it hangs up on me. I can't believe they steal your info off the job websites and give you false informations.

This all makes sense.  I've been getting calls from this number without the area code every single day for the past few weeks.  I think they hijacked my number off of CareerBuilder.  Grrr.

The calls are all of course from Jobexpo.com, or Diversityjobfairs.com, or Womenjobfairs.com, or Securityclearanceexpo.com or Salesshows.com depending on which scam Jack Cohen is running that week. Whoever is currently looking for a job beware of any of these events, they are a huge waste of time for the jobseeker and a big waste of money for the employer. The calls that are being received are coming from an India located call center hired by Cohen in order to stay as cheap as possible while trying to fill his so called career fairs with potential employees. Most of these callers can not speak English or give the people wrong information, usually creating a host of angry people in its wake. The company also lists a huge list of events around the country on each of its websites, although a high rate of 90 - 95% of the shows are cancelled (usually days before it is supposed to take place). No real advertising is ever done for the shows, they are all expected to be filled via the annoying phone calls you receive that sound as though they are coming from a terrorist. Steer clear and you should be fine. They get your phone numbers if you have attended one of the fairs in the past, or put your information on Monster, Careerbuilder or Hotjobs (where they steal most of thier resumes). They also try and charge jobseekers to attend the events which is disgusting and greedy. I hope this sheds some light on them. The office number for them is 516-942-7574 and the President is Jack Cohen in case anyone would like to call and express thier feelings towards the annoying calls. At least you will have the proper information as opposed to phony return number.

I too received this call and I am having the number traced by the local authorities, I suggest you all do the same.

Called sat. eve./supposedly from job fair (organizers), no area code, just seven digits. Provided address of one job fair - checked real date of the "event"- fictional. Said that is calling from NY. Could be island-asia. Prank-number disconnected. n/existant. ('event' was to take place in one of local hotels)

The same 725-7021 number called me today and on monday....today i answered and it was someone saying he was a job recruiter wanting to schedule me for interviews. however, he wouldn't tell me what the positions were and hung up when i wouldn't accept his vague answers of "mid to senior level". he knew my name and had a very strong foreign accent...maybe indian?

I just got 2 calls in a row form 725-7021. I got 2 voicemails but no one said anything. Its really creepy ...

just answered the call.  Guy said he was Winston a Job Recruiter.  I didn't want to hear any more so I just hung up.  Been getting a call like 3 times a day and finally answered.  No area code either, just the 725-7021 number.

i have received three calls in the past few days. they left me a message but it was just background noise.

I too received a phone call, they did not leave a message, I called the number back and said that i need to check the number and dial again.

Received an unwanted call from this number.  No message was left and I have signed up with the Do Not Call registry.

I also got a call from this number and when I tried to return the call, I got a recording to check the number and try calling again.  I hate calls like that.
