Received same text message at midnight , same name "Corey", from "Michigan" (Phone # PA) Same m.o..  Crook!

just got the text in this morning from "corey" .. so glad i saw this !! it just suck that so many ppl wanna scam the ppl that have nothing !

NEVER accept PayPal for a Craigslist ad.

You will not be able to PROVE delivery of what you are selling, and the buyer can file an ITEM NOT RECEIVED and you will always lose your money!

Same guy called himself Corey. As soon as my add to sell my scooter hit he text and wanted to send somebody to pick it up with a check for $2000 more than the scooter was selling for. What a creep and thank goodness I said "no cash no scooter".

Same story as the other posts.  He wanted to buy an item on KSL.com from me.  I'm glad I found this information!  Just didn't feel right!

Same guy named Cory.  His area code is Pennsylvania but he told me he lives in Michigan.
Wants to ship my item.  Scam, scam, scam.

got the same scam! calls himself cory and claims to be hearing impaired! DON'T BOTHER RESPONDING!!!.

"Cory" texted me trying to buy a classified add item and said he would send a check plus 2,200 for shipping and a used car he bought. Asked me to hold the cash and give the excess cash to his shipper for shipping and the used car.

Yup, text scammer! He (corey) has tried twice on same classified item in two months.

Text said his name was corey asked for me to cash a check for a thousand more than the item was. Then said to wire the excess via western union and he would give me his shippers name for pick up. Thank goodness i didnt !dont fall for his scam! Dont even respond!

The guy he called him Corey from phone 724 -683-8794. This guy is text scammer and totally robbery and I lost lots of money by his text scam. I don't know exactly he is in Michigan or PA. he said he is hearing impaired and use his mother Elizabeth's phone and he used text scam for classified ad.Really really be careful about this guy corey and 724 683 8794.

I have only had my add up for a few hours and had multiple text scammers. This number is one of them. Tell them you take cash only or PayPal. Don't accept any checks or give out your address for mailing payment to.
