received 3 calls 1/2 hour apart from this place to lower credit interest. I explained nicely to the first lady that i do not have or want any she said she would have the number removed now they keep calling and  before i can ask for a supervisor the person hangs up

Just got a call from this number.  Did not answer the phone.  We are on the do not call this and we still get these kinds of phone calls!

Cardholder Services wanted to lower our interest rates on credit cards, she would not answer any of my questions and hung up on me.  We are on the DO NOT CALL list something needs to be done with these companies!

I ignore these calls completely. The Do Not Call List is 100% useless.

I keep getting this one too.  I cannot do a backward lookup as it is an outgoing number only, and there isn't anyone to pick up on the line ( I tried to stay on long enough to see just who they were, but no luck).  If anyone does know who they are I wish they would at least answer their phones that they are sending out.  I, also, have my phone on teh "do not call" registry, so good that has done, huh?

I've been getting calls from some credit agency about how I MIGHT have possible credit issues (not that they know.)  When I press nine to speak to someone I ask for them to remove me from the dialing list they immediately hang up.  Nice,

I've been getting calls from this number, and press nine each time and tell them I'm on the do not call registry...Usually they hang up before I'm doing bitching.  This time, I told the lady she was in violation of federal law, and she said...Oh Shut Up.  So I gave her a piece of my mind, and she finally hung up.

I just got a phone call from this number concerning my credit card (which I do not purposely have) from a man named Brenton.  When I said that I didn't have a card he just hung up after I asked him the name of the company that he represented.

Just received one from this number.  didn't answer since it's obviously a spoofed #.  I'm sure they'll call again.  Why is it that we can put a man on the moon, invent all sorts of unbelievable electronic gadgets but we apparently can't prevent idiots from calling us on invalid phone #'s with 3 zeros in the exchange position of a 10 digit #.  Or is it that the phone co's don't really give a darn as long as they're raking in the profits from these scammers.  My home phone line is a VOIP provided by Comcast who generously(?) allows me to block 12 numbers but I can't add this 726-000-2827 to the list  because it's an "INVALID NUMBER".  Now isn't that interesting.  I've vented on these lists before but it's a big waste of time IMHO.

THIS IS A SCAM. This is a version of the advance-fee-for-something scam where something is a grant, loan, lottery winnings, interest rate reduction, tax reduction, gift card, refund, doggie, cruise, vacation, free gas, etc., and the advance-fee is for tax, shipping, registration, insurance, secure handling, processing, etc. They may send you a fake check, may want your credit/debit card or bank account number,  or tell you to wire cash via Western Union, Moneygram, etc. They can put recurrent difficult-to-cancel monthly charges or a 1-time charge on your card or bank account, and sell account info to other criminals and you'll have to replace accounts altogether. Wired-cash is irretrievable - once it's picked up at the other end, it's untraceable and gone. If they want you to call them up for instructions, they may tell you not to discuss the wire with Western Union desk clerks but the real reason is WU clerks are familiar with these scams and will warn you not to wire the money. I've been getting these calls for over a year.  I called my Attorney General's office but without a real number there isn't much they can do.  I wonder how many people have lost money to these idiots.

I get multiple calls daily, from this number and alot of others that are all basically the same, I would love to hunt them down.

Been getting these calls as well, I pressed 9 started my sentence I just wanted..... he interuppted with "to get on the no call list! NO!" and hung up on me

Just wonder what would be the outcome if I sounded my boat air horn into the mouth piece of the phone when they call.

Calling and hanging up... like to know why there's a Government Do Not Call List being run... wasting taxpayer's money if they do NOTHING about this crap. Made reports on this number before to no avail.

When I asked for the name of the company all they did was hang up after telling me that I had a very positive rating on my credit card and would I like to lower my rate.

I got a call everyday for a week from this number. They left a message on my recorder. I was home and answered one day. They said "are you interested in new rates for credit cards?". I said "no, I amm interested in why you call my number everyday and leave messages on my reorder" ..and they hung up very abruptly. Report them on the do not call list like I did..eventually they will be caught...

The telephone number is spoofed. They will call using all kinds of different numbers and this scam has been going on for nearly 4 years. You would think they would have been caught by now, but apparently calls that violate the do not call list is not important. Otherwise the calls wouldn't still be happening.

Said that the were from MY credit card company and that they could lower my rate if I pressed 9.  So I did.  The moo-ron on the other end of the line answered "Card Services".  I said "You all called me.  What do you want?"  She hung up.  Nice!

Got a call from this # pushed 9 to speak to a person, actually got a human being and stated I demanded to be taken off their call list and his reply was "No can do". I said "Legally if I am requesting you take me off your call list you must", and he hung up! Freaking nuisance, bordering harrassment!!
