I had been getting these calls too, now its gone a step further and am getting calls from dealerships who had my loan application forwarded to them.  not cool, appears they have my social as well!

Me too they call me up to 20 times in a day never left a message and when I picked up it was talking about some car loan as well. But I had recently felled out some scholarships for school and im guessing they were scams because it never happened until then.

I just got a call from this number, and they told me that my car loan application was approved... The problem is that I did NOT apply for a car loan or any other type of loan! The guy on the phone was obviously Middle Eastern Indian, and he knew my name. As I haven't had this phone number very long, I'm trying to figure out where he got it, as I don't give it out unless it's important.
Don't know who the company was, as I stopped him in his tracks and told him I did not make any car loan and I wasn't interested in whatever he was selling. Then I called the credit bureaus and put a freeze on my accounts.

Same problem, keep calling every 20 to 10 minutes to a private cell number, but not only from this number, I got calls from 4 different numbers, one of them from a publishing company ( clearinghouse ?)  other over somebody that apply for a loan and gave a random number that happen to be mine

received 5 or 6 calls from this number tonite.  We never answer numbers we don't recognize, but obviously is the same people who are calling others illegally.  Is there a way to report them to the no call system?

I started receiving calls this AM, from this # and the ones I will list below. They just kept calling. I did not answer until I could research #'s. Thanks for everyones info. I finally answered, cursed, I do believe multiple times, heard some heavy accent but they didn't get chance to talk. Told them to stop scamming and calling.

Wtf, I'm fifteen and the only site that has my phone number is paypal...????? This guy has called me at least ten times in a twenty hour period, anyone know how to block his calls? How did he get my number?

I got a call this morning this is like the 7th time this guy has called he told me i was appoved for a car loan and when i told him it was the wrong person he said i sounded sweet and if i wanted to go on a journey with him in his nice car i was like f*** you dude>.<

Called my cell -- left no message.  I also received a call today from a 421-781-8274 on my cell, which I didn't answer.  Some foreign man said, "hello, hello" after an automated message said something like "K-1 matching sir".

I got a call from this number today but was unable to answer.  When I called back a computer said the number was incorrect.  Probably not a coincidence that I have also received about three spam texts today regarding lines of credit.

Got a call on my cell phone from this number. No message was left. After reading the above I suspect they may try and call again.  I have been on a Do Not Call list, but it may have expired, unsure.

I have the same issue although mine is accompanied by a few other numbers totaling in 15 or so calls a day to a private cell phone.

Omg they won't stop calling!!!!!!!! Foreign guy knows my name, tells me I'm approved for a loan and then I say wrong number and he hangs up. They have called 9 times and it's only Tuesday!!!!!! What can I do.

They call me bout every hour for a week so far. They are from the Middle East trying to get money from us to support terriost. Thats why they are useing a number that is not real with an area code that no state uses. All you can do is report them to the goverment.

Been getting at least 10 calls a day from this number starting as early as 5:26 am!!  They never leave a message and when I call the number it tells me "the number or code you have dialed is incorrect".  Did a search for the area code and it doesn't exist.  Who is this?!!

I just got a call from this company asking me to give them my social....when I asked question he got his "manager" on the phone and then he talked a lot about nothing.  Finally he hung up after getting frustrated with my answers. Then someone else called me back and state rude crude slurs to me. I laughed and he hung up, he then called back saying the same thing, when I told him that my husband works for the state and I can trace this back he hung up and haven't called back.

Online loan scam, has called me for 6 months.  When I asked where he was calling from he said from outer space. Gave me a bogus address for a payday loan place. I finally asked for a number where he could be reached and he hung up.

Just got two calls in one morning from the foreigner and these are the 4th and 5th calls I've received from him. I've consistenly asked him to take my name off of whatever list he was using and he just hangs up. So frustrating!!

Same thing just happened to me.  They knew my name and all.  Said I was approved for an auto loan and when I said I was concerned because I never applied for one and I asked for more additional information, he then hung up on me.  He had a foreign accent and he said his name was Josh.

Two early morning phone calls from 726-517-9716. (7:00am). They did not leave a message.

The same thing happen to me a foreign accent man called me too said the things I tried a question he hung up.
