This number called my home 3 times in an hour. Every time I stated u am in the do not call list - do not call me again - I am not interested in there information. This is harassment these ppl are creepy and need to let it go!!

a different person will call you each time as they have a bizillion staffers that have to cold call old files regardless of your wishes on the matter. staff often have to make amends for ethics actions and are sent to do this as part of their amends projects for crimes against the Church. these offenses are often just like not selling enough books are not bringing in their quota of people to start beginning services. they will be pleasant and pretend to want to help but its a just a scam they will never ever stop calling and or writing you .Cydonia's post is correct.I feel sorry for most of these people as believe it or not they make about almost nothing a week . look at the pictures of their promo material and you can see the cheap clothes they are issued and what poor state they are in. regular staff conditions are bad enough but if you are unlucky enough to have sold your soul to Sea Org you are treated like dirt and since staff members have "no case" ( spiritual problems to resolve )they don't get any of the benefits of what the paying public think they are getting .you can get the post office to stop mailings if you fill out a form they have that you state you believe the stuff they send you is pornographic and offense in nature..good luck ............Bill

we have had at least 100 calls from scientology.  understand this: THEY WILL NEVER STOP CALLING YOU NO MATTER WHAT YOU SAY!  it is a mandate from l. ron hubbard himself to never release anyone once they are on "the list".  they just keep handing your name off to person after person.  since they are a "church", they can get away with unsolicited calls.  it's harassment like i have never experienced, but nothing you can do about it.  they are brainwashed into thinking they have the truth and everyone else needs to know it.  unbelievable how many times we have asked nicely, then pleaded, then yelled, then hung up.  they have given their minds over to this rule-mired cult and you are talking to a rock.

I have told this organization numerous time to stop calling me. They called tonight and hopefully the calls will cease. But I doubt it. These people are hard to get through to and they do whatever they please even after repeated requests to stop calling.

I was getting calls from this number at least twice a day (sometimes more). I asked to be put on their "do not call list". The lady was polite, but continued to call day after day. Not something I wanted to waste my cell phone minutes on... I'm not even sure how they got my cell phone number to be honest. Anyhow, want a good way to stop the calls (on a cell phone at least)? Check with your provider, Verizon lets you add up to 5 numbers for free to a blocked list. I blocked this one, they started calling from another, so I blocked that one. Seems to have solved my problem. You must reblock them after 90 days, but that's pretty easy to do.

My son talked to them once and they tried to sell him some books. When he told them he didn't have any money, the Scientology staff member told him they could help him get a credit card with which to buy the books. This is unlike any other church I've known!

Yeah, I know just what you mean. National Socialism works really well for me, for example, and there's a lot more to it than most people realize. It's just too bad about those Jews, though. I just learned to separate the good from the bad too.

I'm a Scientologist.  They also call ME too much from this number, so I often ignore the calls.  Up to a point, being persistent might pay off, but beyond that point it's often counter-productive.  Scientology works for me, and there's plenty more to it (that is good and useful) than most people realize.  But the telemarketing tactics do seem to need major revision.  It's foolish to piss people off who don't want the calls.  It's pointless, at best, to call a busy person way too often who DOES appreciate and buy the materials.  Basically, if something makes you LESS likely to communicate with, agree with, like or appreciate the person who contacts you; then it's probably a violation of basic principles of Scientology itself!  It may help to separate your view of the philosophy/methodology from the organizational foibles.  Anyhow, I THINK if you talk to the caller and tell them in all sincerity that you really don't want the calls, they'll honor your wishes.  If not, tell them again more firmly and suggest they apply their own principles, one of which is that communication is and absolutely must be a CHOICE and should never be ENFORCED upon anyone.
