Caller asked for me by my first name, would not give me any information and was asking if I knew some random person in TX that I had never heard of. Is it against the law for them to make a "made up call" in order to verify that it's me?

Someone saying they are with Apex Financial has called and left messages 3 times in the past six weeks saying they need to talk to someone who doesn't live here.  Two weeks ago the call came from an 800 number. This is getting annoying.

Called on Saturday... left no message, no caller ID that tells you ANYTHING...ETC

Received call from this number but no one spoke.

Apex Financial has left 3 messages in the past six weeks for someone who doesn't even live here.  It's annoying as hell!  I hope you jerks at Apex read this and choke to death on your next meal!

they kept asking for my name to verify if i am on their list!  if they have my number and they are looking for a "certain person" they should give the name to me.  i don't buy whatever their explanation is...so bogus. hate it when other people use your number!!

Caller did not identify themselves as a debt collector; which I believe violates some law. Just identified himself and said there was a complaint in his office and to call back to the 800 number.

Apex Financial left a message asking to call back.
