THEY CALL AND EITHER DON'T ANSWER OR SAY THEY ARE WITH MASTERCARD. I CALL BACK AND A MAN ANSWERS AND SAYS THAT IT IS FORBES FINANCIAL. HE CLAIMS THAT THEIR NUMBERS ARE CROSSED AND THEY CAN'T SEEM TO GET THE PROBLEM FIXED. ALSO, THAT WHEN IT DOES GET FIXED BY THE PHONE COMPANY IT ONLY LASTS A FEW DAYS. TODAY HE TELLS ME THAT HE WILL CONNECT ME WITH A FLOOR SUPERVISOR, BUT HE THEN PROMPTLY HANGS UP ON ME.

Caller from American Proper.....Asked for me by name then hangs up. When I called back, they replied that the phone lines are crossed and gave me a different number to call.

A scam... I'm sure.  Told them to stop calling.  I reported them to the
bbb, and the calls have ended.

These people call me non stop. Everytime I answer the phone they hang up. When I call back it goes to an automated voicemail that does not allow voicemail. After looking up this number online - many sites say they are scammers calling about credit card accounts they say you have.

I recieved calls 6 to 8 times a DAY even on SUNDAY from these people I FINALLY had enough and answered the phone and was told that they were calling in reference to a credit card I closed over 20 YEARS ago and that I had won some prizes. I started screaming at the women on the other end. The call ended up with her CRYING hysterically, (I mean this women was a whack job from the word go), and hanging up on me....

I have received 4-5 calls per week from this number.  My landline has been ported to a cell phone so there is no caller ID information.  After researching the internet and seeing that this number was a scam number, I finally answered the call.  I was told I had won $500 in free gas.  I told them that I knew it was not a valid call, and that I had reported the calls to the Better Business Bureau.  I told them not to call again.  So far...so good.  I would advise anyone to do the same!!!  Also, I have received calls from 727-216-1823,  Probabably the same scam.

they keep calling my home.  I asked them to stop, and the woman was arguementative, and I hung up on her.  They called several more times, and I asked for their corporate office phone number, and they hung up on me.  They called several more times, and I told them to stop again.  They continue to call 3 or more times every day of the week.  No matter how many times I tell them, that I am not interested, and I don't want any more calls, they keep right on annoying me with their calls.

They've called several times. Caller ID came up as American Proper  and after saying "Hello" several times determined to find out who kept calling they asked for somone in my household by first name only and then hung up when I asked who was calling.

Called in reference to my credit card ending in ####.  Told me I was awarded 50 dollars in gas and a 100 gift card to Wal-Mart as long as I tried some trial offers.  Told them to hug a root.

Caller ID comes up as American Proper. They wanted me to extend a magazine subscription. In reference to this event, by the government rules they have a right to call as there is a business relationship that is current. I may not like it but they are within the rules on this one.
