t work or do buisness with him..his new company is now called Hall Phillips and Davis...no one there by any of those names

I had replied to a job offer by email getting emails back from guy called phllips davis...he keeps askng for my details but wont give me theirs now he says he wans to send me money before i have even worked or meet him could this be the same type of hoax/scam

They also call from 8774060055 ext 501 about a fraud claim that their sending to your state and city.

YOU GUYS LIE.....I USED TO WORK THERE AND MIKE NEVER EVER CLAIMED TO BE AN ATTORNEY. ONLY SAID HE WAS FROM THE FIRM OF PHILIPS DAVIS & ASSOC.
AND IT IS NO ONE ELSE'S BUSINESS BUT THE OWNER OR THE PRINCIPAL WHAT THE CALL IS ABOUT....THEY GET ALL THE RECORDS FROM THE COURTS. OH AND I WAS FIRED BY HIM AND STILL NO BAD WORDS. YOU PEOPLE HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT

Got several calls from this number. It was a debt collector.

Actually, he gets his info from court records. They are real, the phone number is either a comanie number or an Listed agent number...... Next time politely say .... That company does not exist...

We got a call from a man at this company - Phillip Davis Associates regarding a judgment???  He wanted to speak with the business owner, but did not know the owner's name.  When I asked for the callers name, his company's name, and where in the US he was calling from (I didn't recognize the area code) he was a bit hesitant to give his own info.  He said the information regarding the "judgment" he had was not good or bad, but he needed to speak to the owner directly.  Our company is in NJ....we have no clients in FL.  We are a very small business who only does local work in NJ.  We will NOT be returning this man's call as I am sure it is a scam of some sort.!

I received a call today from a lady named Kate claiming I had a judgement against my business.  She would not give me a case number and the paper she faxed to me did not contain any information.  I called all 3 courts in the city that my business is located.  All 3 informed me that there was no judgement against my company.  This company is a scam. Please do not be deceieved.

I receive calls from this number and they claim to be an attorney attempting to collect a debt but he is abrasive and threatens criminal action.

The claim was bogus and I told him but he still calls back.

Received a call from a Michael Hall who claims to be a lawyer from Phillips Davies.  He claimed he had information on a supposed judgement to our company.  When I attemtped to obtain contact information, company name and correct spelling of his name and the line cut off.  

Our office has caller ID, so I called him back to apologize believing it was our issue and instead he began verbally abusing me on the phone indicating he had hung up on me, that I had wasted his time and that I hang up on him as I was wasting his time again.

Clearly a distraught individual who had no idea how business matters are properly handled.  If he is in fact a lawyer I suggest the Florida Bar review his case work and that of his firm to determine whether they are following all matters according to the law and ethically.

Received a phone call just now from same number.  She said she was calling regarding a judgement against our company.  I took her info and told her I would need to know the name of the person that placed the lawsuit against us.  She would not tell me the info, said she could only speak with the owner (even after I told her I would get in trouble for not taking a complete message).

I received a call exactly the same as mentioned by the previous posters by this same company/phone number.   Same garbage about a judgement against my company, which is highly amusing considering the number he called is a residential, non-business number.   Sounds either like a scam or possible bill collector.
