I got a call from this number and I pretended I was underage. They said they have my routing number for bank of america and I don't even have an account there.

Well.  I called them back and was a little rude.  I figured my rudeness was warranted considering they had no consideration for me by calling at all hours of the day.  Here is how the convo went....

Operator: Thank you for calling blah blah blah blah, is this ___________?  (He knew my name, they must also have caller id)

Me: STOP CALLING ME

Operator: We're sorry for blah blah blah (talking a million miles a minute) and we'll remove you from the list etc

Me: STOP CALLING ME

Silence.  The dude named "Will" hung up on me.  Very strange.

If you want them to stop calling, just call them back and ask them to be removed.  Or just say "Stop calling me"

these a***oles have been calling my phone every single day for a month now.  the call at a minimum 5 times a day.  i have never once answered.  when i get home from work, i see they've called 3 times and then when i get home the phone doesnt stop.  how have these people not gotton busted by law enforcement?  they're clearly trying to scam people.  are there people in this world that are so stupid that they'd just hand over their bank account number to just anyone?  how are these people getting away with it?

has anyone tried contacting the tampa police?  perhaps i should.  this is getting out of hand now.

None -- I've never actually been home when they called -- but they call every day and sometimes several times a day.

Man... i got called like 5 times a day... it ringed once, then twce, then trice and so on... i picked up once. hers what happend

Me: hey whos dis and how;d u get my number.
Them: Is this Jordan?
Me: yes who the F**K are you?
Them: you have won a trip (and so on)
Me: WHAT THE HELL!?!?!
Them: where is your ank again?
Me: HOW THE F**KING HELL U B***HS GET MY CELL!!
Them: You have benn making calls and was seleted to win our prise (and so on)
Me: STOP F**KING CALLING YOU JACKA**ES OR COPS WILL BE AT YOUR DOOR
Them: ok than have a good day.


So i was like WTF!!! IS GOING ON!! they called for another month b4 giving up... im only dam 13.. wtf they wnat from me..

They have called me 10 times in the last two weeks.  In fact, they just called me while writing this.

This morning I received a strange phone call from 727-252-0511 claiming that he was with a travel company and because my checking account was in good standing they were going to give me $400 in airline vouchers. The were verifying my information such as my cell phone number, my home address, and asked me to verify my routing number. After he read this to me he asked me to verify my account number by reading it to him, which I of course refused. He asked why and I said because I have no idea who you are. He said that if my account number was in danger then the bank would not print my account number on the bottom of my checks because every pizza delivery person or disgruntled employee would take it.

So I then called my bank and they transferred me to Risk Management. I told the lady what happened and she said he was just phising for my information and she asked if I gave him my account number or anything and I said no. She then said if he called again to tell him I would call law enforcement. She didn't even ask for the number he called from or offer to put a hold on my account or anything of that sort.

Same deal as most of these other folks. Several calls to my cell #.
I aint answering,especially if I don't recognize the number.
Maybe we should all call them up in the middle of the night or while they are having dinner or better yet while they are driving and try to sell them some crap.If somebody can get a cell phone # for these dorks,I'll call 'em!

I've been getting calls like every day from these guys. I never answered and they never left a message. So today I picked up and they asked for me by name I said she is not here can I take a message and they hung up on me. I also think this number needs to be investigated by the police.

They have called repeatedly and hung up when i picked up.  As soon as i call them back an automated voice thanks me for calling them back.  After pressing 1 and talking to a person, i tried to get some info from them. They wouldn't give me any other info about themselves other than "We are part of the BBB" and saying it wasn't a scam.  After asking me info that can be found through legal channels, Name, Addresss, And asked me what bank i do business through, they then attempted to get my routing/account number from me.  When i laughed, they hung up on me.

I called them back again, with my caller ID blocked using the *67 prefix.

The website that is advertised in their recorded spam when you call them with your callerID blocked. In this same advertisement they claim to offer you the priveledges of a personal travel agent.   800$ in rebate checks for flying, and other perks.

The website hasn't been updated since 2005 maybe even earlier.

they have called my phone 2 times today amd after reading this i am gana naswer the next time they call and just be like... hay jerk... take my number off the list!!!!!!!

i got a call from there but i picked up and the were like u win a 5 star tripp to any where you want and you get every thing free and 400 dollars in cash.... luckely my sisiter said it was probebly a crook, but wat i have read do no pick up... it is freaky how they no your name and number just block them from your phone

I have not answered yet, but they have called a lot recently. Is it a scam. Usually telemarketers call home phones...so how did they get my cell phone number?

they called me and told me that i won 3 days and 2 nights at any destination of my choice and 400 bucks off airleine fees. I couldnt make out the company they were working for

They have been calling me at least twice a day for a week now. I have never answered though.

I am too experiencing the same problem, every time my sister lifted phone they ask for me by calling with my last name,and when answer is I am not there they will hung up without saying anything and after few hours they will be calling again, no information will be given from their side except that this is regarding my checking account!!!! they keep on saying something about  free air tickets etc... and my phone display says "Free gift claim".
Somebody has to stop this. next time I should report it to proper authority. Not sure like where to report.

I started getting calls at the first of July. I think what happened was that we were on vacation and stopped at one of those signup stands in a mall. (stupid mistake) I am sure that is where they are getting my phone number from. I would recommend not to sign up for any of those stands.

Just got the same call on my cell same old BS everyone else is getting.

I just called them back after reading another post. A person answers and immediately asks, "Is this...." I said no and I want the number removed. They want to know if they have the 'right number' and I said no- she was VERY RUDE and finally said it wouls take 48 hours.

Thanks for the info everyone.  This number has been calling me for weeks and never leaving a message.  I had thought that after weeks of not answering that they would give up.  Now I know I'll I have to do is pretend that I am a minor with out a checking account! Thanks guys!

well i am only 17years old and i think this is the frist call and i answer and talked i didnt know nothing about it but he asked questions like:

Him:Hello, is this Zach?
Me:Yes
Him:I am calling you to tell you that you have been randomly chosen to receive $400 and a cruise to someplace someplace for X amount of days.  
Me:No sir i dont know what this is i have not done this
Him:well i am just calling that we will be sending you this and i
Me:No Sir i dont know what this is i dont want it
Him: Are you over the age of 18 and have an open checking account?
Me:No Sir
Him:Thats all i need to know thank you good-bye

Plz tell me what this is i am going to go to the bank tom. and see what this is but can anyone help

They called me at work and told me I won a mini vacation.  All Ihad to do was give them my checking account info.  I told them to stop calling, but they kept calling.

they called my cell earlier and i called them back and some guy said "this is a travel business, definitely not a scam." i talked to him for a minute, and he said i was eligible for a free vacation, but of course i turned him down. hot sure what to think....

They keep calling my work number. I have asked them to take me off of their call list but so far no luck.
