Actually, the face of the card doesn't always dictate what you have.  They always send a new card with the last invoice for the year, and they will often send a card upgraded to the next membership and offer you an upgrade.  If you don't take the upgrade and pay for a Basic, it doesn't matter what your card says.  Just like it wouldn't matter having the card in your hand that says its good until 2013 unless the bill is paid.  If you look at your payment records and see you paid for a Plus, THEN there'd definitely be a reason for alarm.

Hi Verizon cell phone user.  That robocaller for AAA aka Sterling Research, is bombarding my landline all day, every day right now.

BUT, they've got MANY different cell numbers operating on their robo caller, so you can use up all five of your Verizon blocked numbers real fast.

I guess we have two options . . .

1. Answer the damn survey, so Sterling can keep convincing AAA that their robocalling "research" compnay builds better customer satisfaction OR . . .

2. Cancel AAA and tell the AAA company itself that you did it because of their fairly new association with Sterling Research.

Google the Sterling Research company and read their bs about how their research lets companies develop better customer satisfaction.  Just the opposite . . . it just "p's" people off.  They need to go back to the mail surveys that folks could either answer or toss in the trash.

It's AAA.  I took the survey beause I got locked out of my car last week and had to call them to rescue me.  I think they're great!  C'mon people!  AAA is a teriffic American organization, and they're an honest one, too.  They have great customer service and they're very reliable.  They ask people to take their surveys because they want to constantly improve their service.  They're also checking up on their employees.  My attitude is, support honest American companies.  A lot of American companies are NOT honest - notice they don't do surveys - that's because they don't care about you - only your wallet.  Also, if you or your relative is an employee of a company that does surveys, and you or they work extremely hard, wouldn't you want client's to say something nice?  I would.  I appreciate hard work, good customer service, and appreciation for being a customer, and I'm willing to take 3 minutes out of my life to prove it.

Your 100 miles are NOT cumulative, so you cannot use them up. It is 100 miles per incident.  You canuse up your 5 calls per year of course, but the mileage is per incident.

It's bull if they say they can't stop it.  They are paying another company to provide them with a service, They are the customer of that company, if the vendor is not willing to do what they want, they COULD find another vendor.
They are just not interested in doing anything to stop it, they could if they wanted to.

If you have a Verizon cell phone, sign on to verizonwireless.com.  You can block up to 5 phone numbers.
Hope this helps.  I just blocked the 727-329-1173 call.  I received it today and the message they left said they would call back.  You're right.  It's annoying.

After re-reading this Mike guy's response, it seems more likely that he works for a Public Relations Firm or some agency connected to AAA because his response sounds more like an advertisement.

Funny, how companies like AAA would rather pay people like Mike to respond to internet complaints instead of just taking care of their customers.   Shameful actually, but today for these businesses, it seems PAR for the course.

Idiots called at 5:46 p.m. on July 29, and today, July 30, at 6:16 p.m.

I guess they really won't stop until someone answers.

I guess they will be blocked and they can eat pre-recorded error message.

Morons.

Well, that's just a bunch of bull.

And it's my right not to answer, cancel my insurance with them, and go with someone else.

So they can suck it.

This is annoying, I called and they said it was outsourced to a survey company and that they couldn't stop it. I will answer one of these days and give them poor marks for spamming me and forcing me to give them my valuable time!

Even if you are on the Do Not Call list, companies that you've done business with can call you. You would need to tell those business to NOT call you (Yes, you actually have answer and to speak to them)

You can just type in the number into your address list and name it "AAA Survey". Then next time you can just either answer the stupid survey or press 2 for not.

They keep calling and leaving the same STUPID message...that starts in the middle of a recorded sentence: "Indicates that we have reached a voice service, if you would like to take our survey please press 1 now, if not we will call again later." They do not leave a message about what to do if you DON'T want to take the survery or have them call again later. There is no opt out! This must be a scam of some sort. My advice - Don't Answer!

I verified that this is AAA by calling my AAA membership number.  It's a customer satisfaction survey for roadside assistance recently provided by them.  If you call the AAA number on your card you can ask them to cancel the survey and not call you with future surveys either.  This did take me about 20 minutes on the phone with them to accomplish.  I let them know their automated voicemail saying they would call back was extrememly obnoxious.  We'll see if it actually stops the calls...

Yesterday I renewed my AAA membership by phone and now I am being bombarded by these phone callers, who don't identify themselves as from AAA but use various other IDs.  I told AAA they could send me an auto insurance quote and I'd take a look at it, but if these phone calls persist, we're done!  Plus I'm blocking the numbers.

Why doesn't Triple-A just identify themselves?  It wouldn't cost them anymore money to insist that there is an identification marker through caller i.d.  As for being paranoid.  I PAY THE PHONE BILL, I'LL ANSWER IT WHEN I WANT TOO SANS A PHOBIA.

No, I didn't use 100 miles in towing. I don't think I used the card at all the prior year. The company representative cited that I didn't have a Plus membership.

I believe this is Triple A  (AAA) as stated above.  If you have service from them and have contacted them for help or service in the recent past they may be calling to request a rating on the service performed.  This is as far as it goes.

It is a customer satisfaction survey call from AAA.  The do not call registry is only for unsolicited calls from people that you do not do business with.  Your credit card company, AAA if you have it, etc. are not regulated by the do not call registry.

They said they wanted me to take a survey from AAA, regarding my recent roadside assistance experience with AAA.  I checked between myself and my wife, we are the only cardholders in our family, and did not have any roadside assistance in the last year.  We have no children or other people living here.  I responded "no" to their survey (that I did not use the service) and they said they would call back to speak to the person that used the service.  How annoying!
