I just got a call from this number, I could not understand the company name or her name. She said she got my resume off the internet and asked me to call her back. She never said anything about an interview or job, just to call her back. At the end of the voicemail she said I had one full day. I'm assuming she meant one day to call her back but you never know. I will not be calling her back. Thank you to all the other people who posted and warned me.

I got a call from this same number too, found this conversation, but decided to keep looking anyways.  I found an article about a writer's personal encounter with this company in California, found here: http://www.cockeyed.com/citizen/bankers/bankers.php

I also happened to receive an email from this lady pasted below.  Her name is Lisa Makrianes for Bankers Life, sounds like a scam where they actually just want you to sit through a presentation where they try to get people to sell 100% commissioned insurance.

Here's her email:

I just spoke with this woman... I think she said her name was Arlene, but I could barely understand anything that she said.  She scheduled an interview with me and said that she'd send me an email and a text with all of the information.  I'm thinking that I will be a no-show for this one; I'm not wasting the time or money on this "interview".

Same here.  This woman barely speaks recognizable English and states that I applied for a job.  She states that she's from Banker's Property and Casualty Insurance in Clearwater, Florida.

However, I find it difficult to believe that a company would have someone calling them for a job by someone who can't seem to speak English and is very difficult to understand.

It does sound like a scam.  If it's not, then the person calling sounds like a person that does the scamming.

i got a message from a lady with a broken English accent and it sounded like she her name was Ariel and to call to set up an interview. I couldn't understand the company name, but if the others here say it was Bankers Life...I wouldn't be qualified if it is a legit call as my husband works for State Farm and it would be a conflict of interest to work for another insurance company. I'm just gonna disregard this call
