Got both an email and text message from them. Not a member but I tried calling them (from another number - not mine) and I got a message that the mailbox was full.

I got a text from 256-620-6541 and the text message said my card has been deactivated and had the 727-466-5317 phone number to call. I did not call the number. I don't have a card with the 4 digit they referred to -- very odd!

i knew it was something bad. i got a message that one of my cards was deactivated but i don't have a card starting wih the numbers they gave. I tried to call it back but just got a message that the box was full.

It's a phishing number. If you call it back it will ask for your 16-digit card number and then hang up. I gave it a bogus number, called back and gave it a bogus number again, it hung up, tried it a third time, same results...
Whatever you do, DO NOT GIVE THIS ANY OF YOUR REAL CARD NUMBERS!!!!

I just got the same text asking me to call this number about my Credit Union deactivated card (which is clearly false). I called it from my landline to see what scam they were running and it is a generic recording requesting you input your "16 digit card number" so I just typed something bogus. If you type anything other than 16 numbers it tells you it's invalid and try again, if you input 16 numbers it records it and then hangs up on you. Would love to know who this jerk is and how they got our cell numbers.

I also just received a text message from (971) 263-5022 stating:
"THE CREDIT UNION CENTER ALERT: Your CARD starting with 5081 has been DEACTIVATED. Please contact us at 727-466-5317."
