Who is it?

The man said he was from my credit card company and that i owed money. I said well i'll call my credit card and make a payment then if needed. I found out this man was phishing for information and i ended up hanging up on him since he kept insisting i make a payment over the phone with him. I hope he gets arrested so he earns what he deserves.

They call me too!!! I just received a suspicious lady that sounded like the one that called before she said she wanted to know about my warranty on an 05 excursion!! I don't own an excursion I told her that she hung up quickly. The number was 954-423-8079 can anybody look this up?

Phone rings, I answer, caller hangs up. I *69 (don't have caller ID) and I am given 888-337-8331. VAN RU is who this number belongs to...not sure what they want but it can't be good, so beware

To all who read this message ... never give any information over the phone unless you are calling them. There are too many scammers these days and i dont even trust caller id :( So from now on leave a message and i'll call you!

I know they are a collection agency because I'm behind due to the wonderful world of not having health insurance and having to pay for everything and all with my first equity card.

OH OH.. another tib bit information.. this same number calls and it says on my cell phone "UNKNOWN" BEWARE!!!! it's the same.

like sucks. because no matter if you pick up and tell them your situation..  they will harash you and tell you to pay. they don't care.
so why bother picking it up in the first place.

This # is a landline phone # (www.whitepages.com) however provided by Verizon.  However, it's location is in Clearwater FL which is the same as First Equity.  This line is not only used by First Equity for telemarketing purposes but also for collection on credit cards.

Rcvd call at 9:00 pm - no message left - getting calls everynight at this time - never any message - getting very annoying.  We are on the do not call list - sometimes I think being on it doesn't do us any good.

Received a call from this number and the caller said they were from First Equity.  Watch out!
