Received voice mail from Amber indicating there was interest in property I own in Florida. Never identified her company and left a call back number of (800) 933-9239 which traces to Coast to Coast. From all I have read, I have no plans to call back. Hopefully they will just go away..............

Received a call from this number and I am on the No-Call list. Asking if I would like to sell my land in Port St. Joe, Florida. No!
Betty S Varney 2014-05-07 13:02:45 Unknown
I also received a call from this number thought it was a scam but i was too stupid to hang up so i gave him my credit card number to get the contract to sell the lot in Arizona then i googled them and seen all these letters so i had credit card blocked so i will dispute the charge if it comes in.

They called my house today wanting to purchase property I have for sale in South Carolina
They gave the name South Coast LA, surely with all these different names for ONE comapny it is a total scam! They also said they needed x amount of dollars for the transaction to "go through"....RUN!!!!.... the number they used at first was the 727 number then someone called and left 1800 933 9239.....They prey on the elderly also.
Report them so that they can get caught!

Yet ANOTHER new number for some scam
Harvey-Texas 2014-02-06 01:13:00 Unknown
We're also on the DNC list. Are these people so powerful they don't care about that? Same type scam as others: for a low "portfolio fee" (which MUST be paid in advance), they offered to buy our lot in Arizona. But they guaranteed to pay back the "portfolio fee" in addition to the land purchase price! How could we refuse? Oh, and the person we dealt with was the infamous "Gale/Gail Jones."
Abe 2014-02-05 19:38:40 Unknown
Same scam as described by other posts. I did a reverse phone lookup, showed a private residence NOT a business. The FCC and Phone Co. need to outlaw caller ID spoofing.
M. Dominique 2014-01-17 02:29:47 Unknown
The same person called me about my land in Florida. He said his name was Gale Jones calling me from 727-576-6100. He asked for my credit card number so that we could deposit $1,298 to sell the land plus an additional $50 for legal fee.
This is an obvious scam. Please do not give these people any of your information.

Called to inquire if I wanted to sell vacant land in Michigan. Out of curiosity, I told them to have someone call me back. Of course, they never did! Scammers for sure.

Got a call about undeveloped lots I have. Everything sounded great until he (Manuel Parado) said I need to send him my Credit Card # for a deposit of $950 of which $900 will be refunded after the deal is done. Takes 90 days for me to get my money...HA
Glad I found this site!

Thanks for this site. I got a call from this 727-576-6100 about they had buyers for my undeveloped land in Palm Coast, Florida. We have two vacant corner lots, they want to list and sell, same as above, November 13, 2013.
Been around the block 2013-09-19 13:27:18 Telemarketer
Received a call yesterday from Coast to Coast LA, 727 576 6100 showed on caller ID, the female caller giving 800 933 9239 Ext 408 as a return call number. "We've had some inquiries on your land in ______, Texas", was the pitch. My property is a vacant lot held for investment reasons in a developed, rural, ranchette-friendly setting. Info on land is readily available through GIS databases. It was clearly a surprising solicitation.
There are several red flags here, which I will not detail to facilitate identification and investigation of the callers, including the hot-headed and defensive, illiterate one monitoring this list. Claims of being licensed, promises to refund, being reputable are easily verifiable. Those who covertly advocate for a multi-name "company" using unusual personal names, including those who post rebuttals on lists like these, are not credible.
It boils down to masqueraders using others for their own gain.

Curious and more curious ... (see my post of Apr 2, 2013)
Now on Sept. 10, 2013, got call from same # (727-576-6100) but 'company name' is now "Coast to Coast LA"
Caller (actually a live person!) asked for my ex (by name) - about his 'Fla property' - glitch to that approach is that we've been divorced since 1998 ... and as soon as I relayed that detail, they abruptly hung-up.
Wonder if they'll call back ....
btw there is a parcel of vacant land in Florida, whose value has steadily decreased over time because proposed development of area never happened.
I'd best describe the call as a "telemarketer", in violation of dnc, attempting to sell a service. Legit or not, it's still an unsolicited call from an entity with whom there is no current or prior business relationship.

They called me and told me they had a developer that wanted my property in FL. The buying price was 6X what the property is worth and they wanted $950 for marketing & title search. They said commissions and closing costs would be paid by their client. Since title search is part of closing and commission is paid by the buyer (who they said they already had) why do I have to send them $950? This is a scam..
To Robert's point, that they don't work for free and are a advertising company.. If you list property with a legitimate realtor, broker or agency, they will market / advertise your property and list it on MLS and for a commission which they receive after the property sale at closing . This is usually 6.5% in FL and could be 10% for land or building lot and is split between listing agent and the buyers agent if they are different.
Before you send any company money for advertising property, call a legitimate broker like Century 21, Coldwell Banker or RE/MAX and ask the how they would advertise your property and how they get compensated.. They will NOT ask you for and money ($950) up front and will explain how it works with a legit company.

Called to inquire if i wanted to sell vacant land in Arizona. Caller ID said Coast to Coast Land, but it was also a Gale somebody who called. I would have to pay them $1200. When will these scam artists be stopped?
Anon in NorthEast 2013-05-02 16:51:08 Unknown
They left a message inquiring about my vacant property in FL, which isn't vacant since I built a home on it 5 months ago. Ever since purchasing land in FL we've been getting the strangest calls. There really are a lot of scammers out there trying to dupe the elder population in FL. What a shame that some people do fall victim to these scumbags.

"Property Solutions" & 727-576-6100 displayed on caller ID ... msg said it was "Heather" asking if there was interest in listing a property owned in Florida, and intimating there were inquiries about it ... left 800-477-4248 as a call-back #. Check the FL Sec of State/Corp Divisions...found 7 listings for Property Solutions, Inc. (5 inactive; 1 FL domestic corp; 1 DE corp reg. to do business in FL) and 9 Property Solutions, LLC listings (7 inactive; 1 FL domestic LLC formed in 2004). Who knows who they really are!
To the 'responders' of complaints about paying up-front...of course you pay to advertise in the newspaper...when you initiate the call for the service! But when you represent yourself to me, in an unsolicited call (btw, my #s on the DNC list), as a real estate agent...well those of us who are licensed realtors, and/or work for real estate attorneys know you get paid after the sale from the commission you earn. And, it's the buyer who puts up the earnest money...not the seller, with a written contract between the buyer & seller.

PROPERTY SOLUTIONS CALLED MY HOME IN PHILADELPHIA TO SELL A PIECE OF LAND I HAVE IN FLORIDA''
BJ 2013-02-21 05:58:13 Unknown
Got a call from them today. Said they have a client who wants to buy our lake lot for $15,000. It is probably worth $1,000. We would need to put up $650. as "earnest money" which they would keep if we backed out of the contract. Told them to e-mail us a contract. Sure we won't hear from them after I told them I worked with real estate documents for almost 30 years.

MY CALL WAS FROM PROPERTY SOLUTIONS - WANTED TO SELL MY PROPERTY IN WEST TEXAS FOR $18,000 PER LOT. DIDN'T KNOW MUCH ABOUT MY PROPERTY, BUT ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS. I TOLD HIM (DALE JONES) THAT I'D DO SOME RESEARCH AND LET HIM KNOW. HE DID SAY THEY WOULD CHARGE $1198.00 FOR MY PORTFOLIO, WHICH WOULD TAKE CARE OF ALL THE PAPERWORK, ETC. I TOLD HIM I DON'T PAY FOR ANYTHING UP FRONT!!! ALL THE PHONE NUMBERS FROM OTHER'S MATCH UP WITH THE ONES I HAVE. PRETTY CERTAIN IT'S A SCAM!!

When U get a price that is way too high ... U know it's a scam .... NEVER pay up front to sell.
If it's just advertising then it costs way to much and it was miss represented as a sale.
Gale Jones called me with this ridiculous proposal of twice what the property is worth.
Everybody needs to report these calls to the 'Do NOT call" website as Property Solutions are breaking the law. Report these guys.
