Just got a call stating there was a problem with my banking account to call asap.

Same as most other posters, this number asked me to lower my rate by pressing 1.

The caller is a SCAMMER SCUMBAG who claims they can lower your interest rate on your credit card.
I called my credit card company to ask it this is something they typically do. They said absolutely NOT.They confirmed that it is a scam. This SCAMMER wanted two credit card numbers with open credit lines in order to "lower the rates to a perpetual 6%".  

Got a call from them earlier today. When I clicked "1" to find out what this call was about, the guy gave me some crap about me wanting to lower my interest rate on my Capital One or Chase card. I said it would be impossible to do it since I don't have either card. The guy immediately hung up on me.

Hoes called me, I didn't answer but now after seeing this I'm glad I didn't.  Putting them on my block list.

The callers are the drug-addicted "card services" scammers, who call us, pretending to be associated with our credit card companies, in an attempt to fool us into giving them our credit card numbers, so they can rip us off. People that have given their card number to these junkies have suffered severe financial losses. Beware of these lowlifes, and warn others, before they are cheated!

I just got a call and answered it because it came up as PEDIATRIC GASTR on my caller ID and I thought it was a doctor's office.  It was a robo call about lowering my credit card debt.  Out of the last 20 calls I received, 15 were unsolicited robo calls!  This is getting beyond ridiculous.  If you don't answer they get your voice mail and know it is a valid number, if you answer you confirm the same thing.  It does absolutely no good to tell them to remove you from their call list - they never do and just keep calling.  I have all my numbers, landline and cells, registered with the DO NOT CALL LISTS and have had them listed since the list first came out.  We have no rights at all and I am sick of it!!!!!  Government needs to start doing something to stop this harrassment and soon!

Answered phone, put on speaker, and listened:
Basic lower your interest rate, once again my final chance.
I pressed 1 to be connected.
To my surprise a person, very Indian sounding lady, came one the line and asked
"Are you responding to our call regarding lowering your interest rate"
Thinking in my head, as my blood begins to boil, she wants me to say "yes".
I replied," no I'm responding to the pediatric gastric showing on my caller ID".
Click and off she went.
The background was quite noisy with other callers. Typical boiler room.
Despicable to use children and/or the elderly.
They have no shame, may they burn in hell or be forced to eat beef!

Did not recognize number & did not answer. Other comments here show that to have been the right decision

Just got a robocall at 9:25Pacific, 3-26.  Automated voice did not respond to my voice and I hung up.

Just received a call from 727-822-4675

Got a call on my cell phone. Mr. Number software report by 16 user that this is a spam. Blocked.

99PEDIATRIC GASTR was displayed on the caller ID. It was someone with a foreign accent trying to get my credit card number in order to lower my interest rate. They kept asking for the numbers after the first four digits of my visa card.
They hung up and called back on 360-322-6073 but i did not answer.

Same thing, b***s*** call about lowering interest rates.  Great thing we have a do not call list (ha ha)

Just got a call on my cell phone- Answered because I am expecting a call. and get automated recording bla bla bla...lower my interest rate (i do not have ANY credit cards because I have terrible credit) so i press "1" to speak to an operator (foreign of course...) and immediately say "i want to be removed from this calling list" and get an "ok i will remove you" (with a side of attitude)

It's a scam.  I got the same response about lowering your interest rate.  When I asked what credit card it was for he listed a host of card names (Chase, Citi, Bank of America).  I asked him what credit card number this was in regards to and he hung up on me : )

I just received a phone call and no message.  I am reporting this to donotcall.gov.  

just rec'd a call from this number. i was having trouble understanding him so he called me back (360-322-6073).  He stated that i'm eligible for a lowering of my interest rate because i've been paying my bills on time.  they want to confirm my information but when i questioned the incorrect info they were giving me instead of giving them the correct info he hung up.  strong indian accent.  

Got a call. No response when I said "hello" twice.
