hung up when i answered

We got a call from this number with just a hang up...you can't call back cause the line has restrictions

Called this AM, left no message.

I received a call today at 6:16 PM from 727-835-0201 and it just lists caller ID as New Port Richey FL.  I did not answer because I did not know the caller.  They left no message and I looked them up under reverse lookup on white pages and it is listed as Nuvox Communications.  I googled them and then found this site where, much to my amazement, so many people are being harrassed.  This needs to STOP and these pranksters or con artists need to be caught!

Got a call from 727-835-0231. Tried to call back, got something about "blocked number".
Caller ID showed F.A.S.T

I agree...how can this continue with all the complaints and them dating back to 2006!!!!????

This is ridiculous!!! Why or how can this continue to go on and on an on unstopped.  It amazes me. I too just received the call from this number under the name F.A.S.T. and a quick hangup. Decided to check it out and am SHOCKED by all these entries!!!  With all the reporting of this phone number how can someone in Authority NOT track it down. It is the same number under different names - someone disconnect it! Permanently. PLEASE!

i have just started getting calls from 727-835-0233 . this just started . just the other day i got a call from another 727 number.

Yes, someone/some company is evidently either harassing folks, or someone possibly within a company is abusing knowledge to utilize the phones.  I keep getting calls from 727-835-0234, with hang-ups, no voice, and call back only gets the "blocked" message or "calling from a restricted phone" message.  Says Winter Haven and Nuvox company.  But Nuvox is supposedly in another city.  Have reported to FTC, but ALSO reported to Nuvox Communications directly, through their "legal" contact area under Abuse.

Constant Calls

As of today, Nov 23, no more calls from "R. Martinez" anymore.  I am so sick of these cons/harassers/sneaky telemarketers, etc.....Any weird calls I get, we are reporting them!

Lucky enough to be getting calls from both 727-835-1373 and R. Martinez 727-835-0247. Filed complaints with FTC on both of them just now. Hopefully enough of us will bi*** and Nuvox will pull the numbers.

I just received a call from 727-835-0233.  Caller ID said it was from Winter Haven, FL, but Winter Haven is in area code 863.  So the caller is spoofing its caller ID.  Reverse number look up showed line belonging to Nuvox Communications, New Port Richey, FL.  I filed a complaint about Nuvox with the FTC.  Even if they did not call, it's their line and they're responsible for it, as far as I'm concerned.

I just got the same thing you did. 727-835-0231 different last digit. the call states r. martinez?  Hmmm!  i tried to call and the call was blocked.

We have been getting several calls from "R. Martinez."  727-835-0234, or
727-835-0243 or 727-835-0233.  They don't leave a message.  When I tried calling it back, there was calling restrictions (either I had it on our phone or the # I was calling could not be reached.) We have gotten about 5 of these calls this month of November, 2006.  Anyone else get anything similar?

dont know this number and the other 3 he used,has it been checked for who it is ?have seen the name in a chat room, think he needs to be found asap so the phone calls stop

Been getting calls from this number the past few days too. Although I laughed at the bizarre name, I don't answer calls from unknown people.

(I thought it was a prank from my mother at first - she DOES live in New Port Richey, FL)

What made it more confusing, they left no voicemail.

After their 4th call, I tried to call them back, and was unable to connect to the number.

I got a call from this number.  I didn't answer because I don't answer for people I don't know, but I thought that the caller ID name was odd....Tedd E. Bear.  Anyone have any ideas?  I reverse searched the number in the White Pages and it's an unregistered number from New Port Richey....and I don't even live there!

they have called several times.  Finally, I picked up to see who it was and they asked for me by my first name.  I sai, I'm sorry, not homw, and they disconnected immediately.  who are these people????????   how did they get my first name and home phone number?????
