I filled out a cruise sweepstakes at a local restaurant and the lady called me today from "security travel" saying I had one the cruise. Being the cops daughter I am, I was suspicious. I researched the phone number on google, and found tons of scam information. She said my boyfriend and I had to be in Tampa by wednesday to fill out the paperwork and pick up our packet information, or we could have it mailed to us for a fee of $90.00, never heard mailing some paperwork costing that much! Needless to say I blew it off as a scam , but they continiously kept calling my phone for weeks after, until I had the number blocked.

In the fall of 2007 my boyfriend and I each filled out a card that was in a pizza place in New York where we live.  A few weeks later I was at work and got the call, was so excited and called the caller back.  She explained (with great excitement) how I needed to come in person to get my "registration materials".  When I told her I was in NY, she said she would mail them after I paid the $87.50 for myself and my boyfriend.  I did hesitate, but when she told me we could book the cruise on the date of OUR choosing, up until 18 months from that day, I thought I couldn't lose. I wasn't expecting a great cruise at all, but figured for less than 100 bucks why not.  I paid with my mastercard, and called my boyfriend.  As soon as I said the words, he says, 'you didn't pay them did you?' He had gotten the same call moments earlier!! And was about to phone me to tell me it sounded phony.  Well, once we got the "materials", we decided to go just for laughs - the paperwork was EMBARRASSING!  Looked so cheap, so lame.  In any event, I still check my credit card all the time to make sure they haven't done anything with it.  So far nothing, but needless to say the 18 months came and went and we never went on the cruise.  It's almost two years later and I still see the contest in food places all over where I live.  If you look closely, you'll notice that no where on the entry slip does it say "win".  This is truly a shame! I am just one person who has given them $180, for nothing.

F that...i payed like 87.50 twice for me and my g/f at the time...we had no more info on nething..we also have no refund...lol  we will see cuz im not one to give my money away...security travel u.s.a im coming after you b***hes ...hahaha

I ALSO RECIEVED THIS PHONE CALL STATING MY HUSBAND HAD WON THIS TRIP. I LOOKED IT UP ON GOOGLE AND FOUND OUT THE SAME THING IT WAS A SCAM

I got the BS Bahama cruise call on my voicemail.  When she was reading my claim number the last thing she said was P as in PENIS.  I knew at that moment it was a joke but I had to google it anyway.

I got the same call, got the package, and sent it back. We are going on the trip in March 09.  I will let all of you know if there is a ship waiting for us when we get to FL.

I got a call yesterday saying that I won this crusie as well. I then googled the number and here I am on this website. Did anyone go through the process and had success with this cruise.

I am on the DNC list and received a call from this phone number. they left a message from Security Travel that I won a Bahamas cruise.

same call today. no way they're getting my money. it did bite me for a moment. NOT TODAY MR. O'BRIEN! (THE CROOK I'M TO CALL FOR A BOAT RIDE). SAY CHEESE, MR. O,BRIEN OR WHOEVER YOU ARE, BECAUSE YOU'RE GOING TO JAIL SOON.

company is affiliated with Awards Verification (817)525-1027) they have Awards Verification call you and give their phone number (727) 898-0555 - This is not a free vacation - any time you have PAY SOMEONE FOR SOMETHING "FREE" IT IS NOT FREE!!!  MANAGER Laurie Wall at 727-898-0555 would not even get on the phone to discuss!!!!!

Got a call that I won a cruise to the Bahamas.  They want $87.50 to send me the package of information.  Sounds weird

I filled out the form at a restaurant.  It's not free.  It's $99 per person.  That's not a bad deal to include a cruise, meals and hotel for a few days.  That's DIRT CHEAP.  We can spend more than $99 at the Brazilian steakhouse that we go to for 2 people.  

Nothing is free in this world.  They are just trying to get as many people to board the ship as possible to help the economy in the Bahamas.  When people go there, they will gamble and eat at all of the restaurants.  It's like what they do in Las Vegas.  They give you the hotel for cheap or next to nothing so you will spend all of your money gambling.

Jennifer Watson left a message on my phone that I won this cruise.  The message said to call this phone number for further details (which would be a recording) regarding the trip I won.
After I googled this phone number, I decided I wouldn't even call it back due to these comments already posted.

Same thing to me. We were in Cocoa Beach spending some vacation in march. My wife filled a sweepstake coupon at a steakhouse.  Someone called me back home yesterday and told me we have won a 4 days cruise in the Bahamas. Sounds bad isn't it ? They even gave me a claim number for my lot !

Yep. Got a call today that I won a 4 day cruise to the Bahamas. Got a claim number - knew something was up when the girl said info on free meals and "hotel" costs would be sent to me....hotel costs for a cruise? Are you kidding me?!

Guess what i won a cruise too, was really excited everything sounded really awsome, the bf and i were really needing a vacation and this was perfect 4 days, 3 nights hotels, meals, cruise all incluided and 18 months to go, but we need to claim before april 15...bf was telling a fellow employee, and he said he got the same call last night around 7pm....

I got the same call, except I said to the lady that I never filled out a form.  She said that "someone must have thought I needed a vacation."  If it is what Elias said, and it is only going to be $99 and no more weird fees, that would be a good deal even though it's not free like they initially claim.

Both my fiancé and I recieved this same call. I haven't checked mine yet, but he IM'ed me from work telling me about his message, and it was the same. Free cruise and all that stuff. We've had scammers calling us a lot lately, so we knew better than to get our hopes up. We filled out a form at the Golden Corral in Brunswick, GA. I think it's horrible that restaurants let scammers do business there...

IM SO PISSED!!  y couldn't this be real??  i was so F'n excited that i won something and my dad (cop) asked me what the number was and googled it and like the first thing that came up said scam.  damn it

I got same kind of call and left message in my answering machine about the pachage program to Bahama, 4 days 3 nights. My son did filled out a form in a Chinese restaurant, yet it sounded fishy to me. I googled the number before I was trying to call and here you go. I do think I will call this.

looks i was the next one in line. they called me this morning and i was stoked. then i checked on the company and turns out it was a scam. lets finish these people off.

They called and I hate telemarketers so I Googled the number first and low and behold its a scam, O I saw like two people on the entirety of the web had something decent to say about them but I'm sure they work there. So I called them and then I called the place where I filled out the form, and I remember it being FREE with no strings attached, and I told the manager the situation and he is going to bring it up to the owner at their meeting tomorrow. The manager didnt know what was in his store Im sure the owner doesn't either. Telemarketers Suck!!

These guys are shady dealers and scammers and if you get a call from them file a 1088 Complaint with the FCC at https://esupport.fcc.gov/form1088/consumer.do and if you are on the National Do Not Call List, file a Complaint at https://www.donotcall.gov/default.aspx.

If the government gets enough complaints from you, we can put these guys out of business.
