Now I answer the phone and after speaking to someone ask them to hold while I get my credit information. Then I just put it on mute and leave it to see how long they will stay on the line. If everyone waste these folks time the less time they have to harass everyone else.

I am constantly receiving calls from Card Holder Services from this number.  Whenever I try to get info to pass on to the do not call complaint board, they hang up.  I am sure they will just call back sooner or later.

We're on the no-call list. I've actually spoken with a live person after following the automated prompts and asked nicely for these ppl to remove me from their list and to quit calling me. I've also cussed at them, yelled at them, hung up on them, ignored the call and allowed it to go to voice mail, and all to no avail. Several times when talking with a live person, they've been very rude to me. I am going to report them asap.

Credit consolidation company keeps calling, I have asked several times to be taking off the calling list, they always just hang up on me

by the time I got to phone answer machine got it-- they hung up when i said hello--- no the first tiome I have had this number on my machine.... once before when I asked who it was they said some collection agency and in the end wanted me to pay for  something I never got.

Call from someone wanting to help me consolidate my debt.  When I asked them to remove my name from their database, they said, "I would, but you are a f**king a**hole!"

Just got a call from that number, but they didn't leave a message when they got my machine. I don't even have any debt to consolidate.  Must be scam.

My mother has been receiving phone calls from this number advising her she can lower her interest rates on her credit cards. They will then ask her for the card number and when she asks who they are with or refuses to give it to them they hang up on her. This has been happening at least once a day for a couple of weeks now.

These idiots called my house 8 times today. Does anyone know how to block them instead of them blocking me

This number was on my caller ID on 10/13/10. They did not leave a message.
I guess the No Call List is not in service to those of us who have put our numbers on it.  It doesn't seem to do any good to report them as nothing seems to happen. They still call.  Maybe they bought the do not call list.

These people drive me crazy throughout the day with calls, I finally hit 5 to see what it was all about and to ask them to stop calling me for I have no credit card debt and they argued with me saying according to my credit card services I do.....when I asked them not to call me they told me to have a nice day and they would call me tomorrow....the next time they told me they would call me as many times as they want....well, today I had the number 729-000-4282 showing on caller ID so I picked up and sure enough, it was them again, so I grabbed my police whistle and when she anwered, I blew that whistle as hard as I possibly could and hung up.  Immediately the phone rings and it's a different bogus number callins, 852-190-4440...so I didn't answer and low and behold someone starts leaving me a vulgar, threatening message.  I called out local police and they came and recorded it and informed me this is beyond harrassment, I don't know what can be done but I wanted it documented by the authorities.  The officer called me back and gave me this website www.privacyrights.org to check out.  I just wish someone could put a stop to this madness, I too am on the NO CALLER list, as you can see, it evidently doesn't work!!  So arm yourselves with a whistle, a fog horn, a mega-phone, whatever it takes, I'd say it's up to us to STOP the calls!!!!

I received several voice mails from this number that were both hang ups and claiming to reduce my Visa interest rates, implying they were affiliated with VISA. I finally called the number and was almost immediately answered by an operator. She asked if I was interested in lowering my interest rates to which I replied "yes", and she started giggling and hung up, or we were disconnected. I assume they would've asked for my credit card number if she hadn't went into giggling fits. I am on the Indiana and federal no call lists. Never give out any numbers associated with your personal information to anyone who calls you...I made that mistake once many years ago and had an illegal alien in California using my SSN to open phone and electric accounts. Try explaining that to a bank you are applying for a loan from. The IRS will never ask for your SSN I was assured by the FBI when I inquired.

This number keeps calling me and when I answer there is nobody on the other end so today I blocked it.

These bums might be a collection agency scam. Watch your selves. These collection agentcies are exempt from the no call list. If this continues call the phone company and get an unlisted number on their dime.  Please remember that every time you get a new number you must call and put your numbers on the no call list. This means all your cell phones  everytime you change your numbers.  The number is 1-888-382-1222 for the do not call list. Rember you should do it at least once a year as it is susposed to be good for 5 years but don't trust it as new laws are passed every year to give them excess to your numbers.  This should be done on your cell phones as well as these tell-a-fools get a release to all numbers around September or October.
Rember that you might to file a complaint with  your States Attorney Generals Office. Keep a list of how many times your number is call each each phone. Now these maggots usually has 1 or more lan lines they call out of. If you try to call them back you get a recording that this number is no longer in service. Not true because they call out and when they hang up that number is blocked.  I have a list of more than 25 calls calling every day. I had this number for six weeks.  Over 300. calls was made. Also check the times and keep a record. If you pick up the phone you might get a distorted voice very loud. This is to scare the hell out of you so you will say anything to grt them to shut or. The most telephones companies have a Slamming/CRamming serviceor third party block. Request it but its inly good for 4 years.
We can beat them Rember the Freedom of  Information Act of 1974 as it will open the doors for you.

This is a scam folks!!!!!!!

I got a call from them today but I was not home. The call went to voicemail. After searching for the number I found this forum and after reading all the comments I blocked their number on Comcast Voice today. Hopefully that will stop these calls.

This number was on my caller ID. I was not home when they called. What's up with the "Do not call"list anyway? I've gotten several (different numbers) call in the past 6 months. Maybe it's time to re-do the list.

These individuals are thieves and have just inundated with us calls. Be careful do not provide any information to them. I am on both the NDC list and that of the state of Indiana.

I believe that they are identity thieves. I told the person I got that I was suspicious of someone calling without telling me which credit card company they were from and I was not going to give them any info they could use to steal my identity. They hung up.

I also have gotten several calls from this number, I am on the Indiana DNC List and the National DNC list, they can tell you they are not selling something all they want but soliciting business is the same as selling!

Answered this call 'just out of curiosity' and received an automated statement saying I qualified for an offer for a 6% interest rate but the offer was about to expire.
I did press 9 and was on hold for ten minutes.
When the Card Services Reprasentative came on line I ask what credit card and her answer was Visa /Mastercard.
I then stated I was "on the road" and could she give me a phone number that I could call later today and discuss the offer .......yep, you know the answer to that.....SHE IMMEDIATELY HUNG UP !!!

I asked them for a call back number "in case i got disconnected".  They gave me 800.253.2322.  I told them that they were violating the Do Not Call List, and she said, "We aren't selling anything.  And, you have to update your listing every 3 months."  What?  I am filing a complaint with the state of indiana Attorney General.

When I answered the phone, the person said it was an automated telephone solicitation set up by VISA to "help people" reduce their credit card interest rates.  

(Since I do not have any credit card debt), I asked who they represented? ....CLICK!!!  They hung up in the middle of my sentence.  RUDE.  I thought after I registered with "DO NOT CALL" unwanted sales calls were against FTC rules.
