Harrassing call about selling me an extended warranty for my car.  I automatically hang up, however they have my parents phone number and have called their residence asking for me.  They were told that I no longer live their and they didn't say anything.  Before they hung up there was a female voice in the background(talking about her outfit for going out).  I believe this is being done out of a house.  I hope this helps.

Some one is calling from this number and when we answer they hanging up.

calling all hours day and night when i pick up no answer..i call back and i get beeping or "mailbox # 616 is not taking calls, then hangs up. This is all a scam!!!!!!!!! WARNING!!!!! Just ignore the call and turn your ringer off at night so they do not disturb. Eventually when they figure out no one answers they will stop calling!..this includes your answering maching picking up!

This number and multiple other numbers like it keep showing up on my caller ID.  As others have already stated, they do not leave a message.  Whoever it is must have an entire block of phone numbers that they use.  So far I've found the numbers range from 6500-6514.  I recently started blocking the numbers as they show up only to have it appear again with the next number in succession, so who really knows how many numbers they actually have and how long this "game" will go on before I can erradicate them from my life.  Is there anyway to block an entire area code from calling?  (Seriously, what is a person to do?)  Most of the numbers show up on my caller ID as "DOCTORS GROUP."  However, I find it quite interesting that this number in particular (6514) showed up on my caller ID as "WARRANTY DIVISION" on 5/22/08 but as "DOCTORS GROUP" on 5/29/08.  When I called the number back, it was just a recording asking me to leave my name and 10-digit phone number if I wanted to be added to their DO NOT CALL LIST.  Sounds like a good idea, right?  I punched in my 10-digit telephone number from my touch-tone phone only to be told that it was an invalid entry.  I believe they wanted me to SPEAK my name and number so they could record my voice and use it as part of their scam, whatever that may be.  I'm not falling for it.  I just hung up, and I would seriously advise anyone reading this message to do the same.

trying to sell me Chiropractic services in my area...okay NO thank you! A very heavily accented male finally had the guts to speak up (I recieve many hang ups daily from an assortment of 6514, 6515, 6510 numbers).  This just leads me to beleive that this is NOT even close to being legit, so everyone be on the lookout for these people do not give them ANY info.  I am just going to start saying wrong number or better yet act like you cant understand them!  Or just try to be as annoying as they are!  Here is a great site you can browse and get some great ideas :) http://funwithtelemarketers.com/
