I got a call from this number and the 7605 number today.  I didn't answer since I usually don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize.  Apparently, from others' comments, it's Verizon's survey for customers who have had work done at their house.  I had FiOS set up recently within the last couple of days, so I guess they're correct?  I wish they'd leave a messge with a call-back number so that we can complete the survey...

I had Verizon FiOS installed in Washington, DC today and missed a call. A blank three-second voicemail message was left.

It was a survey called regarding to Verizon's technician installation.

I just called verizon for a land line repair today and have had 2 missed calls from this number since.

They have called my house twice so far today, left no message.  I had Verizon out yesterday for service.

Just had Verizon at the house yesterday for landline repair and lo and behold phonecalls to my cell # that was given to contact me started 4 times just on Saturday.  I will call Verizon to complain, then the Atty Generals office.

I had Verizon Tech Support out to reactivate my Internet service, today. Later, I received a call from 732-448-7606 @ 7:40 PM on my cell phone, but I did not answer. After a review of other peoples comments on other websites ? they too had receive similar calls from this number after phone line install/repair. Caller ID displays as 'Unknown Name' although http://www.spokeo.com/732-448-telemarketers indicates it?s a telemarketer from Englishtown / New Brunswick, NJ. I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize. If the call is important or legit, the caller would leave a message. This caller will NOT leave a message or hangs-up before going to voice-mail. This is annoying and unwanted RoboCall / Telemarketer that could possibly be involved Interstate Fraud (via communication/electronic device by Verizon New Jersey Inc. service provider) or cell phone attack/hack. Verizon will only suspend cell phone accounts (for outbound calls) while the Verizon FRAUD Dept. attempts to figure it out. I?m tempted to file a law suit against the carrier ? Verizon New Jersey, Inc., for allowing this Robocall / Telemarketer to violate and abuse the National FTC DO NOT CALL List They keep calling me despite being registered with the FTC National Do Not Call List. Meanwhile, I have BLOCKED this number with my cell phone feature - just wish I could do the same for my landline.

Received a call on my cell phone from 732-448-7606. Like the other postings here, I just had service from Verizon at my home one day ago.

Had Verizon over today to connect my new service, which by the way they stiffed me on, gave my cell # as an alt contact, got a call a few minutes ago, called back right away, the # is not in service, did an internet investigation of the # and found that it belongs to Verizon.  I don't like shady people, that's one of the reasons I do not like doing business with Verizon.  I should start looking around for another carrier.

I have received 4 calls TODAY alone. I, too, attempted to call the number but there was no service. How do we STOP this???!!! It costs ME...ME  money each time they call.

I had FIOS installed yesterday too and now I have a couple calls from this number and a 908 area code. No messages left.

Had Fios installed on thanksgiving day.....all day Friday, calls from the same number, called back, it's not in service....there is a glich in this number....I started to think maybe a secret admirer...hahahhhahaa...had my hopes up.........but now that I know after reading all of the post, I just won't answer it...if there is nothing we can do,then there's nothing we can do....weird.....

They called again - this time I was able to answer and it was an automated survey for the technician who did the work.

Same - fios installed yesterday. Call today from same number no message.

We had our FIOS services restored yesterday after Sandy had knocked everything out and are now getting calls from this number.  Have not answered yet.

I had verizon installed today received two phone calls already. Ill answer the next one. when I call back , the line is busy

Had Verizon install the triple pack yesterday and then today I started getting these calls too. So reading all the above comments....verizon seems to make sense. That is way too many coincidences.

If you had any service done by Verizon recently, as in residential phone repair, FIOS setup, etc., the call is from Verizon to followup and see if you are happy with your service.  Unfortunately, they do not leave a message when they call and if you call them back, you get a message that the number is not in service.  Annoying but harmless.

Had Verizon Fios installed on Monday - received 4 calls in three days - annoying and have to erase a message each time that says nothing but a two short noises.

Guess I'm in good company ... had FiOS installed yesterday (3/30/12) and have gotten 2-3 calls from this number in less than 24 hours.  Either no message left or 1-sec electronic "screech."  It's easy enought to hit "Ignore" on my BlackBerry but then I have to delete the phantom voice message.  If it persists, another poster seemed to reference a way to block that number from ringing on my BB?  Is there more about that?

This number and 732-448-7605 calling with no message.  I will take all steps to block them.

its not harassment, its just verizon calling to check to make sure you are happy with your service. relax

Wow, Same situation here. I had Verizon out here two days ago for a landline install; I've received a dozen calls from this # since then. I am alling Verizon today and letting them know if I get another one I'm changing back to Optimum.

VERIZON FIOS installed yesterday. So far 3 calls from 732-448-76006 this morning with no voicemails left.

just logged a phone call issue with 732-448-7605 on this same website.  got another call 2 min ago from this 732-448-7606 number.  Crazy...  . Would have never put this together if I didn't see these other posts. Just had an outside line repair with Verizon yesterday. That's when the calls started.  It's now harassment at 1/2 dozen calls in less than a day...no message and reverse called to this number which is disconnected.

The same thing happened to me..had a FIOS install yesterday and then the call this morning...

Just received a call from the 732 number. Coincidence that yesterday Verizon did FIOS install work?

Caller ID says New Jersey.  I did not answer the first 2; I answered the 3rd and it was an automated call from Verizon with information concerning an outage that I had reported.  Why New Jersey instead of Verizon is beyond me.
