SCAM robo call recorded 5 July 2013 ("Uh, John from shipping...'free' medic alert alarm...already paid for...")

This one's slick, I actually thought there was a live person on the line. I could hear him flipping the pages of paper he was reading and I was all set to "play" with the caller when I realized that it was a recording. Following is the text of the "conversation"...

"Hi, uh, this is John from the shipping department of Emergency Medical Alert, I was calling to uh schedule a delivery of your medical alert system, it's uh the "fallen, and I can't get up" type of system you've seen on TV. Looks like the system's been uh recommended by thousands of hospitals and medical professionals, uh, let's see, says here that the system's already been paid for. Looks like you're getting the system because uh either yourself, a friend, a family member or maybe even someone you know has experienced a fall in the past so uh again it's already been paid for so there's no cost to your whatsoever. Also says here that the shipping has already been paid for so to uh schedule the delivery of your Emergency Medical Alert System press 1 uh again to uh have your system shipped out to you press 1 now...press 5 to decline the shipment of your system....(me) Hello?"

I am so tired of getting calls from the recorded message from a person named John.  There is no way to tell him to take you off the list and if you try to call the number you will not get through.  I think it is time for the FCC to get involved to stop these annoying pre-recorded messages, and by the way there are many more than this.  It seems to me that putting your phone # on the DoNotCall List does not stop these calls.  What is the answer?  I don't know, does anyone?

calls ten time a day  STOP IT

They have called my grandmother and now my work phone. this is highly annoying and I would think illegal. Since it is falsifying information. It is a recording and doesn't give you a specific company name just a broad product type. The recording also does not have an option to no longer receive the calls.

732-5105497 calls every day...I am on the Do Not Call list...what good is it...so annoying...I let it go to my answering machine...am hoping they will give up eventually since I refuse to answer....

732-510-5497 and 732-749-7026 are the same outfit. Both numbers now blocked. I reported them both to the FCC as they are trying to scam seniors.  Both numbers now blocked. If the FCC gets enough complaints they will investigate.

(732) 510-5497 calls about 10 times a day, won't leave a message, I finally answered it, it is "John" from the shipping dept. of a medical emergency alert system.  I told him I've heard about his scam and hung up.  I have an unlisted number and I've done the "block telemarketers calls" thing, so now it's time to block the number!

They keep calling at all times of the day and there is no message.
I understand they are selling medical alert systems.
I don't need one.
