No answer when I picked up

I keep getting calls from this number.  When I answer,they hang up.  When I don't answer, there is no message

This number 732-636-1184 calls my house every morning at least twice, if not more.  Considering I work evenings, this really ticks me off!!! I call the number back and it just keeps ringing and ringing.  Very annoying.

I get a call from this Woodbridge, NJ number at least two times a day! When I pick up the phone no one is there...and it is extremely annoying to say the least!  I have called it back and it is busy or just keeps on ringing..no one picks it up.  
I just moved into this area and I have VOIP and I am also on the DO NOT CALL list...so how do we stop this person(s) from calling?  I don't want to go so far as to change my number.  It seems from the comments here that reporting it to my phone company does not help either.  
If anyone knows how to stop this please post your solution here.

They call almost every evening. Honestly, who has time for that crap. I just quit answering. Maybe someday whoever it is will get bored enough to quit.

i get a call from this number like 3 times a day, i have answered it 3 times thinking someone is going to be there and when i pick up they wait for me to say hello they hang up. i would like these calls to be stopped

I answered no one talked I called back I got there voice mail. woman I lefte message saying you called me  you didnt talk now you aint answering

I've gotten a couple calls...very annoying!!!
At&t must give out more info. then they are supposed to or something, because I have NEVER gotten so many weird calls in all my life...but this one tops them all!

Getting calls from this number everyday. We just had our number changed and it is unlisted. I called the number back and it is either busy or it just rings and rings. I am on the do not call list and I want it stopped.

Have received calls from this number several times since we began VOIP service with Charter Communications™. Have not answered, so have no idea who is responsible.

I just moved and had only had the phone number for a DAY when I started getting calls from this number. I too added my phone number to the do not call registry. I, on the other hand, do NOT have VOIP. Time Warner is too lazy to come run the cable line from the pole to my house, so I can't get VOIP or anything other than dial-up. I HATE TWC.

Just as the rest of you, I have a new number and they call EVERY DAY!!! 3 4 5 times a day, no one on the other end.  Sons a b***hes

I got a call to my cell from this number.  I call back and no answer.  IT COULD BE THOSE RIP OFF COMPANIES CLAIMING THEY CAN SELL YOUR TIMESHARE!  IF YOU HAVE A TIMESHARE, BE ALERT!  THESE PEOPLE WILL NOT SELL IT.  THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY UPFRONT AND YOU WILL HEAR NOTHING ELSE FROM THEM.  TELL THEM YOU WILL PAY THEM WHEN YOUR TIMESHARE SELLS AND SEE HOW QUICK THEY WILL END THE CALL!

I got this call at the office. Caller identified herself as "Julie with GSR" doing a media survey for the employee who answered the phone. I was sure there'd be a scam involved, but thought I'd play along, and answered her questions about where I get my news, whether I clip coupons, and how tv ads influence the way i shop. She offered me a free gift of a set of ginsu knives, or a walmart gift card. I said I'll take the gift card; then she offered me a choice of three magazines. When I told her I didn't want to participate in that, she said thanks & have a nice day. I have to admit I was impressed she didn't press the issue. But I still didn't get the gift card ;)

Caller ID showed this number twice in 2 weeks.  The first I deleted; thinking it was a call I was expecting from NJ.  Thinking this may be the one I expected I called 1-732-636-1184.  No answer or busy.  I saw the tips to block so I am going to try that.  I just changed my number from a private listing to published.  I think I'll go back to private.

I hope you can stop whoever is harrassing people.

Rx'd call from blocked caller at this number.  Didn't ring long enough to answer phone.  Just what I need!  Why won't the phone company allow us to bomb companies that do this?

I have received calls from this number. This number shows up on caller ID shows up but no other data. When the answering machine picks up, they end the call. I call the number back they let it ring. I will continue to call them back so hopefully they feel a little angry like myself.

I do not want to receive calls that hide behind their phone.

(732)636-1184.  I just had my phone number changed and this nuber came up from the Welcome Department.  I had 1 voice mail also which was from the "Credit Department"  stating my account was in good standing but had a limited time to reduce my rate.

Sounds like a sales call to get you to switch balances to a different card.  I didn't call because I had no interest (a pun).

This caller is continuing to call our home and hang up when we answer the line.
We try to call back and there is no answer. we would like to find out how to remove them from calling us.
