Caller asked for my husband, when I stated he wasn't home she said oh, is this Mrs. So & So ,
I said yes, she told me my Ladies Home Journal subscrition was about to expire.  I said I don't
even have a subcription anymore.  It expired about a year ago. She said well did you read it
when you were getting it? I said NO. She said ok and hung up the phone. This is the second
time in the last week that I have received this call.  I contact Ladies Home Journal and she said
they don't make these kind of out going calls.  It's a scam!

this # 732-894-4248 calls daily and when i callback al it is is music-----any help is appreciated.

Got automated request to hold for "important message", after 15 seconds someone picked up the receiver then disconnected the call.  Caller ID had the number and indicated Belmar, NJ.  I have my whistle ready and my limited Japanese as a back-up.

message was left on my machine - this is definitely a bogus caller.
I dont know anyone personally from this area code and the person
calliing left a message and asked for me by my first name and then hung up

received a call from this number and a recording said you have a call please hold, but no one ever came on the line when I called the number back I got a message in spanish.

Calls, leaves no msg; am on "DO NOT CALL".  Very aggravating.  Get rid of them!!

this time i called them back they hung up on my 5 times said it was about a FHA reduction rate, i explained that our # is on a do not call list and it is my childs phone they hung up on my 5 times they will not tell me how they got my #

Some Ozone Park, NY sounding guy answered hello.  I said "you call me?"  and he said "No, you called me".  After going around 3 times I hung up the phone.

Will not identify themselves. Constantly calling to harass me. For what I don't know, I'm going to try to blow a whistle also maybe that will keep me on their Do Not Call List!!!

Got a call asking for ex wife from this number. He hung up and called me a 'chicken head.' must have nothing better to do all day. 'chicken head?' really!

get a computer, get a fax modem;;#1 you can let fax answer and squeal in their ear OR #2 you can get old program called classic phone tools by BVRP, import into this program a jane barbe sit wave file giving the 3 tone disconnected number message and  auto dialers will remove your number from their lists. I'm startg to have peaceful no phone days!!!

GOT THIS CALL AND FOR SOME REASON IT HUNG RIGHT UP I HAVE CALL BLOCK ON MY NEW PHONE  WHAT A NICE DEAL  I LOOK UP THE NUMBER ON HERE AND HIT BLOCK AND ON THE NEXT TIME THEY CALL I GET ONE RING AND THE PHONE HANGS THEM UP  MAYBE THEY WILL GET THE IDEA    LOVE CALL CLOCK

They asked for me by name and said they were calling about a Better Homes & Gardens subscription.
I do have one, but it is not even near renewal time.

They are baaaaadddd.....woman called and asked for the prior owner of house. I explained they moved in 2007 and lived in California now. Then this woman (who sounded as if she had never done any leisure travel) asked me if I lived at XXXX   XXXXXX Lane (my address) and said that she had a cruise "deal." I repeated that the people she was trying to call had moved 5 or 6 years ago and hung up.  This woman sounded strung out.

they called me six times from an idaho number yesterday and four times from new jersey today. i have yet to pick up the phone but liking some of the creative ideas.  i wonder if they read this thread.  there has got to be some creative way to get these guys.  lawyers?  hello?  we are available for a harrassment class action.

I have gotten the same exact calls from the same number in listed in Belmar, NJ but also from another number listed in Orofino, ID. (208) 476-2028!  Probably 12 times already this week!

Got a call from this number lady was extremely rude and hung up the phone before I could get her name and business. Called back got a different person, wanted to know if I wanted a business loan.

I am receiving calls from this #...The last was few minutes ago.I screamed...Stop calling,my mom is not here,and hung up.Hope for no more calls.

It's been a virtual assault from these scammers here over the last few days with their incessant calls.

Incessent scammer/spammer despite the fact that I informed these dumb people that I am on the Do Not Call List. Ignore them and report the number. Speaking Chinese/Hebrew may also get them off your back for a time as these people have no clue how to speak these languages.

My caller ID says Belmar, NJ, which is a real nice beach town near the ocean at the Jersey Shore, but not the town in the inane reality TV stupid show.

They call several times a day, almost everyday but stopped calling a 6-days ago. The last time they called, was the last time.

I blew my ever-so-handy whistle so loud in their ear ... it worked ... haven 't heard back in almost  a week.

The loud whistle always works, try it.

If they call back again I'll do something else -- a noise sound much worse than the whistle.

Someone from Belmar, NJ calls every now and then.  They are probably scammers.  Try to get you
to order something, get your money and you never receive the product.  Was scammed by someone
who said I was going to win million dollars bu had to send delivery fee to them.  They got my money
and I received nothing.  They keep calling so I turned my answering machine off and message says
not receiving any calls which is automated message.

This is a good one... I answered after multiple calls with no message.  Caller Id said it was from  New Jersey.  When I answered it was a operator voice that said. Please hold I have a call for you.  Then it went to some background noise and music.  I hung up.  I just might try that accent to get them to stop calling. Since I am on Do not call I will report them!
