Left a voicemail that said "take everything give nothing back." I thought maybe out was a prank call or wrong number. Caller had a heavy indian accent. I haven't called the number back and after reading this stuff I don't think I will.

They are rude as anything and call at least 4 to 5 times a day. If they will not send me anything in writing I WILL NOT PAY A DIME. When I ask them to send me something in the mail they tell me I can go to their website but I will not get the special offer they are giving me and I will have to pay the whole amount. There is something very flaky about this whole thing.

My wife had a gym membership at World Gym. Due to some fraudulent activity on her card, they were unable to change her the $15 for something like 3 months. She contacted them to straghten things out, and was told to call some toll free number. No contract$15 a month. At the most she owed them $90 and most certainly less. The amount the Indian sounding guy wanted? Over $300. If you pay us now, we discount to $250. High pressure to.pay. Now calling home phone. Legally, a letter must be sent demanding payment, who was owed, etc. They can't do it via email unless you consent.
Record the calls and talk to a debt collection.lawyer. Each violation is a large fine. You can sue and recover far more than they thought they were going to collect.
World's Gym lost a customer to LA fitness. More per.month, but better facilities and no contract.

This number has called my cell repeatedly and I kept missing the call or they would leave blank voicemails. Today they called again and I finally answered.. they had my maiden name from years ago and so I said there is no one here by that name and to remove me from their list. He never even mentioned what it was for. I blocked it but looked it up and found all this crap. I used to have a gym account last year so I hope they haven't sold my information to someone screwy! What a crock!!

While I'm sure you're right about the daycare charge, can I make a suggestion? You might want to see if your son's social security number has been used. There's a rising scam where the social security numbers of newborns are being stolen. Years go by and bad credit builds. No one is the wiser until your son/daughter comes of age and tries to take out his/her first credit card or loan. At this point, it's unbelievably hard to clear their names. Just a heads up I thought you might be interested in receiving.

If you are getting calls on a Verizon wireless phone, you can go online and block up to five (I think) numbers for free. I had to block three from these idiots. Couldn't even understand the voicemail. What a bunch of crap. I work all day and was sick of getting constant calls. If anyone knows a way to turn them in, I would love to find out. Scammers just trying to get money without having to get off their lazy butts and work.

I get a call from this number and a Orange County number! I got a call because of an outstanding balance at freedom fitness, which I didn't realize I had in the first place due to me getting a new debit card and not updating the card info. The Indian man would not send me a letter and stated he would do it by email. I stated I wanted a letter not email. I then said I would take his matter up freedom seeing as how I wasn't aware that I was even behind. The man rudely told me that they won't know anything and I should just handle it now or it will go on credit. I assured him that he would do no such thing, and then he hung up on me. They called me again from a various location in the US and demanded I pay them. When I said I wouldn't the guy stated " why can't you pay us, you should have money you have had two weeks! Why don't you have any money to pay us?!" These people are scammers and I advise no one to give them any info or banking information!!! I told them to never call me again I would deal with my gym. The guy got super rude an threatened me with reporting this to my credit report. They still continue to call me.

I got a call fomr this number saying i owe money to fitness first. First of all i cancelled my membership 4 years ago. I just replied that i didnt have a fitness first anymore and then asked me if it was an old acct. Like uuhh arent you supposed to know? Thats when i became suspicious. When he asked me for my social and credit card number i told him i would contact fitness first myself. I called fitness first to report this and i dont owe them anything at all. This is a scam. DONT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION.

I've gotten 5 calls from this company in the past 24 hours regarding a Gold's Gym account that I supposedly owed money on. I told them I would prefer this in writing and I would contact Golds about the matter, and he said he would do that but "to save time and my credit score to go ahead and give him my credit card number." I refused, and he passed me off to three other middle eastern men (including the "CEO"?) who all tried to convince me to give them my credit card number. I contacted Golds and while I did have an outstanding balance due to an error on their part, the debt collection agency told me I owed $300 more than I actually owed. They continue calling even though I have payed the balance. SO ANNOYING! The only name the man would give me of himself was "Mr. Moore". DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR INFORMATION!

I get a call almost everyday from an indian man claiming i owe an outstanding retro fitness account. When i ask for a letter in writing he says they will send me something via email with all the info.If this was a legit company they would send a letter but this person claims once they send it they can not send anymore.they call from various numbers and it's always an indian. If i owe money they will wait because i refuse to just give my money to just anyone claiming they are debt collectors.Oh and not to mention when you call the number back the person says "hello"...Ok if you were an actual company you need to answer appropriately stating your business not "hello"...

This person called me from this number and sounded Asian. He told me something was urgent - a posting error or some sort of money collection. Then I called back a few times, got a man the first time who sounded Indian and then a woman who also sounded Indian. Now I'm just screwing with them.

I've received 23 calls from this Indian accent person in the past 3 weeks impatiently demanding I pay him a bogus Gold's Gym charge on an overdue account. Should have thought about it earlier: *CALL BLOCK* Regardless of how much information this person has or doesn't have on you, I would strongly suggest *CALL BLOCK*

This number calls my phone twice a day. Who are they? I call back and some guy picks up but I can not understand what he's saying then we mysteriously get disconnected. I never applied for any loans. Someone must have entered my number in error. It's getting annoying. They call all hours of the day. I wish they would leave me alone!!

these people are scammers. They will call you if you have ever applied online for a payday loan. I either call them over and over until I annoy them to the point of not calling, or I demand that they send me a letter of collection, certified, or signature upon delivery confirmation that states my debt. They will tell you they are a branch of the government. Any branch of the government would not waste their time sending your collection to Habib when they can just take it out of your damn taxes like they always do. FYI, don't sign up for online loans. I've learned my lesson.
