I don't know about the tv station kcet but I've been getting unmanned calls like this and when I call back its just an automated message that says "if you do not wish to receive promotional news please press 2". I'm suspecting its the phone network that gives away phone numbers to telemarkwters now that landlines are becoming obsolete.

constant calls from this number are very irritating. If this is KCET public TV, what's their purpose??? When I answer there is no one on the line answering back. Suggest someone check these people out. Don't think KCET would use such tactics. Could be a scammer.

10/24/2012 3:19 PM. Caller ID said "Unknown name". No one was on the line.

Receive constant calls from this number with no one on the line when you answer and there is no message left. Why would a call from KCET have no one on the line when you answer? It makes no sense. The calls are annoying and will report it.

If this is truly an automated call from KCET, I will stop my giving to them immediately. Thank you for telling me. Recieved 8/20. Why is it that they dont have to include their proper caller identification as the call comes in?
