answering machine said, "I'm a dumbass"

prob some low life pitching in to help harrass poor people going about their day.
why don't you do something more productive w your life?

It'd be nice to get an address or an actual loc on this phone number.

I got a call from this number trying to sell me home security.  I've literally had my phone for two days.  I told them to remove me from their call list and they disconnected.  When I called the number back, I received a voice mail that said "Hello, I'm a dumb a**."

Got another call from this number but this time it was as the tornado sirens were going off.  I stopped the caller in mid-sentence and told him I was on the DNC list.  He keep interupting me and I repeated,
I am on the DNC list, add me to theirs and excuse me I need to go to a safe place and hung up. On caller ID it said UNKNOWN CALLER

Same issue as all of you...multiple calls a week.  No messages...and what a hassle if I do accidentally answer!  Yikes!

I'm on the DNC list, but still receive several calls/day from sales people, credit card  people, and other misc BS.  I'm  tired of this garbage.  If this is GE, they are wasting their time with me.  I won't  buy anything from these clowns.

I have received a large number of phone calls from this number as well - a couple times daily for at least a week now, no message, some obscure voice mail message when I call back.  Additionally, I've been getting calls from 415-620-6202 that follow a similar pattern.  

All of this seemed to happen since I did something stupid - I clicked on a banner from my cell phone that said I'd won a Walmart gift certificate.  The page I was directed to requested my cell number to claim my gift card, but then started setting up all these hoops I had to jump through to claim the card, so I quit.  I've also received a couple of solicitation texts since then too.  I'm not sure how to stop this, but hopefully this post gives people an idea of how they might have gotten on the call list!

This is a telemarketer (violating the do-not-call-list) selling home security systems.  Trevor (the "general manager"... haha) didn't let me talk, used the oldest cliche' sales pitch in the book, and "told me what he's going to do for me" without even asking me if I was happy with my current system.  When I told him that I was happy with my current security provider and that I was under contract with them, he said, "You're still under contract with them?  Oh, there's nothing we can do." and hung up on me!

I know a bit about this industry, so I'll tell here how they work.  They are a "marketer" for BOTH GE Home Security AND for ADT!  They get each companies' customer list by telling them that they will renew contracts... so both GE and ADT use them to market contract renewals... but in practice, they actually try to get customers to switch from one to the other (and back again) and make a new-customer commission each time!

They are slimy, unethical, and a waste of time.  I need to take a shower now.

Called my business and asked for Mike. Told him wrong number and hung up. I did hear some talking as I hung up.

Did not recognize the number so let answering machine pick up.  Caller did not leave message and hung up.

No message

Unfortunately I answered, asked to be taken off the list, mentioned the Do Not Call List.

"Patrick" told me I was highly likely to be robbed because of the "high crime"in my neighborhood, then when I told him I would report the call, he cautioned me in a way that sounded like a threat.

This is harrassment and almost frightening.  Beware. Scary when they know your name and no doubt, thanks to the internet have lots of info.

If this is indeed GE, they are doing themselves no favors with these calls.  I reported it to police.

Same as the above... Answered the phone but no one said anything... So I hung up. :/

Got a call from this number. No one spoke when I said Hello. I finally hung up

just recieved a call from them, as i did in the past, and asked them to take me off the call list, i too am on a do not call list.......today the guy was very rude, and hung up, before i could ask them Again to take me off the list............

Caller would not respond when I answered "hello" several times

called at 1130 pm  and hung up  do not know anyone at this number

Received unsolicited call, number left on caller ID as "unknown name".  I dailed the number, & it was answered automatically as Gereral Electric Home Security Promotional Department.  I have never done business with this company and am on the Federal "Do Not Call" list.

I also received a call and caller didn't speak, just hung up after I repeatedly said "hello?".  I called the number back from a land line and the recording I got said it was General Electric's Promotional Line.  I plan to block the number as I too am "supposed" to be on the DNC list.

Received call today. "Unknown Name" on ID, hung up, no message.

Caller identified as GE Home Security.  Reported to the DNC list, which I've done for this number before.  They don't seem to or want to get it.

Received a phone call and hung up.
