Got the same thing  twice , once yesterday and then again this morning. It didnt look or seem right so i searched and found this post before doing anything with it. Thanks to everyone posting, sounds like a scam.

Glad you were not stupid like me!!! Thought it was legitament since I was told my account was empty last night. Closed my account. Hopefully they can't use the 4 last digits of my social. Just thank the GOOD LORD I realized it was bogas before they used my card number!!!

What is this text (Smi-ONE) acct#4786556.xxx 1-754-333-7727. Thought it was Verizon ask for my last SS#... dummy me kicked it in.  Hope I didn't make a massive BOO BOO.

I just received a text from this same number but they were claiming my UniversityHealthFcu account was frozen. I don't have a clue to what that is.

what or who is sending

This is a phishing scam hoping that they can get personal information and then clean you out.  It arrived via text message.  Do not call.

I REC'D TEXT MSG FROM THIS NUMBER-(SUSQUEHANNA VALLEY) ACCOUNT 402011XXX FROZEN. CONTACT 754-333-7727.  I DIDN'T REPLY, I'M FULLY AWARE IF I DON'T KNOW WHO IT IS, DON'T REPLY OR OPEN AN E-MAIL, DON'T RESPOND TO VOICE MESSAGE AND DON'T RESPOND TO TEXT.  MY CONCERN IS IF THIS IS SOME TYPE OF TEXT VIRUS SCAM, SIMPLY READING VIA PHONE WILL ACTIVATE SOMETHING?

THERE HAS TO BE SOME GOVT OFFICE, STATE OFFICE ETC. TO CONTACT ABOUT THIS PROBLEM IN ADDITION TO THIS SITE.  IT SHOULD BE POSTED ON THIS SITE SO THIS CAN BE CHECKED OUT BY LAW ENFORCEMENT AND STOPPED.

Me too im in ohio. ex chick is in minnesota and it popped up on both of our phones. its total bs ignore it.

I got the same test. I called and they ask for last 4 of your social and then a 16 debit card number.  I entered bogus numbers but it kept telling me the debit card numbers were wrong.  I dont have an account there for it to be frozon. IDIOTS scammers have nothing better to do.

Appears to have been written by an illiterate w/improper spacing and punctuation, plus I have no such account.

I just recieved this exact message on my cell phone.....  I don't even have a SV.FCU account.

I don't have a Federal Credit Union Account,
Must be a scam.
Number is from Florida, unidentified.

My fiance just got the same message as you Kattar, with the same account number.  "(SVFCU) Card: 402011XXX Frozen. Contact 754-333-7727".  Has to be a scam.

I am on Verizon. I forwarded it to 7726 (to report it as spam) and they requested the original number (which I sent them) and then they instructed me to reply to the original messsage with "STOP", which I did.
