Have Verizon and received a message that  pur Merrill Lynn debit card had been deactivated and to press 1. Since I work in Fraud and deal with these type of things all the time we did not respond. Please be careful if you dont have a debit card or any charge card from a company being mentioned delete message or hang up on the call should you pick it up. This is a SCAM and the frauders are trying to stealy your identity. What amazes me is that this has been going on for a long time and you would think Verizon and the other call carriers would have technology to stop this type of fraud happening. UGH, hate these people who think they should be able to take what we have worked hard for - our credit and persnl history. UGH, UGH, UGH.

I do not know who this company was you don't talk to anyone its a automated Machine telling you your card is being cancelled and when it hangs up on you because you won't do what its telling to do you can't call back and ask what that was abouth or find out who that company was calling you like that saying your card is being cancelled that's got me worried and I'm to sick for this please help me out with this

WOW! These guys can't figure out what financial institution they work for. My call said they were from Merrill Lynch.

It was an obvious attempt to commit fraud.

Recorded message saying my Merrill Lynch debit card has been suspended and to press 1 to reactive.  When I didn't press anything call hung up.

Robo call - said credit card was deactivated. Got it on my cell phone. By the time they started their next sentance, I just hang up.

got a call from 559-5.... a robotic voice said 'my debit card has been deactivated' and to press 1 ... Clearly a scam, I have no affiliation with merrill lynch.  I am really annoyed this came to my cell phone number too..

I received automated call on Saturday afternoon from this number 754-366-3443 to my cell phone number, and message about my Card Credit and debit card has been deactivated, press 1 to talk to activate by  security team.  I hung up.  Automated calls is set up to cell phones with carriers AT&T and Verizon.

Scam artists stating my mom's debit card was suspended. Press #1 to get it straightened out. Came up as "Florida Call." If you don't recognize the area code  or even the whole phone number, for that matter, DO NOT PICK IT UP!

The "a***oles" just called me and the first word spoken was, " This call is being diverted to our security department" and I hung up!  Worthless b*****ds! Get an honest job!

Got this call today. Said that my Winchester Federal Credit Union debit card had been deactivated. Glad to read these comments.  A true scam.

Same thing happened to me today... called my debit card bank insitutions and there were no deactivations.

When I called back that number 754 366-3443 the call would not go thru.

Never give info to an incoming call...better yet do pick any unrecognized numbers.... let them leave you voicemail.

Most legit callers will leave a message...most scams and telemarketers won't...

Got a call from this number after 10 pm at night, which I didnt answer.  Figured it was daytime in Nigeria

tried recalling the number from my cell call couldnt go thru , got an error message

It's a scam also same call from a 203 area code about ATM card being deactivated hang up they are phishing for your info

Received an automative call from Zuma Credit Union which is an actual credit union in the Kansas City area.   Said my debit card was suspended and to press 1 to speak to the Security Dept.  I hung up as I have had similar calls before.  Be careful.

Got a call from this number with a recorded message saying my Visa debit card had been deactivated. Clearly bogus.

Same scam. However, I don't have or use a debit card!

I just received a call from this number, I was on the phone with someone else at the time, and since I didn't recognize the number, I let it go to voice mail.  The first part of the automated message was cut off, but It did say to reactivate, press 1 to be connected to their 24 hour security department.  I assumed it was a phishing call.

I work at Frontier Community Credit Union and the bad guys are using our name to send the same phishing calls to collect card information through this phone number. We have narrowed it down to calls to cell phones with carriers AT&T and Verizon going to members and non-members alike. BE SMART - DON'T RESPOND to these calls. Your financial institution already has all that info

Recieved a call from this number. Just a voicemail with dead air was left nothing in reference as to what its about.

Scam. Said my debit  card was deactivated and to re-activate and talk to security team press 1. I hung up. If legit they would have said what bank.

A bad robot called from this 'cell' number tonite stating that my Grow financial Debit Card had been compromised and I needed to press 1 to speak to a customer service rep.  Of course, I do not have an acct there, I knew it was a scam, and I put it on speaker so that my husband could be a witness to this conversation.  The call stayed connect for 40 seconds, but no one ever came on the line.  I was really hoping to catch them in some fraudulent activity.
