Called but left no message

After 3 years, this is still going on; only the phone number changed. I just received a call yesterday from (625) 000-2983, which was trying the same spiel. I hung up when I got the automatic message, but I thought I should report it somewhere. Interesting though, that this is a spoofed number - see http://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-625-000-2983.

Have had this caller twice.   Once message came through without the phone ringing at all. How can we avoid this?  We are also on NO CALL LIST..

Received a call from 904-563-9668 on 03/13/07, but not at home at that time & they left no message.  Reverse search shows this to be a call from Jacksonville, FL.  # is on the state and national no call list.  My outgoing message states this fact, but if this is computer dialed it would not understand.  Placed a catalogue order recently and they said that their orders are all based on your telephone #.  Ever since that time have been receiving on and off telemarketer calls.  Cingular should check into them using their brand name in the caller ID. Thanks everyone for the info.      

I received a call Tuesday morning from a woman asking for "Marshall" - not my name, and I stated wrong number.  Another call was received soon after, which I did not answer, and no message was left.  I was awoken this morning by another call, which I did not answer and left no message.  Then, about two hours ago, a message was left from (904)563-9668, much of which was cut off; what was there referred to my "account" and "final notice."

We have received several calls from this number.  Automated and sales pitch.  Now just dead space.  I don't wants anymore calls from them.

I received a recorded message (I AM ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST) about my account & press 1 to lower my inerest rates.  I did so in order to get the name of the company to report them.  The person I spoke with said he was Bernard from Card Holder Services.  THIS IS A SCAM!!!!
He talked about my credit (to make me think he was from my bank), but had no clue.  When I asked for info. to be mailed to my home (again to get info to file a complaint) he hung up.  

I just received a call from this number.  The CID said Cellular Call.  They didn't leave a message on the machine.  I don't answer the phone for callers I don't know.

recorded message said they would lower interest rate on credit cards if i punch 1.  i did, but the live person hung up on me when i said i did not understand the purpose of the call.

Didn't pick up b/c I looked up this phone number on this site--I'm in PA and knew I didn't know anyone with this number.  

They called at 11:12am on 3/13.  No message left.

I am on DO NOT CALL REGISTRY so I pressed "1" to ask the comany's name. He told me it was Consumer Services in Orlando FL. I filed a complaint at 'donotcall.gov'

I just received the call from 904-563-9668; I'm in New York state  Cingular Eng De was what it said, and it looked strange, so I didn't answer the phone.

I am on the do not call list and they called me anyway!!!  I talked to a man named Paul who had the nerve to yell at me when I told him to take me off the call list!  Tried to call the number back but could not get through.

They called when I was not home and did not leave a message. I wouldnt of answered it anyway because it is unfamiliar. I dont have a credit card either so I wonder what they would of said?

"Cingular Eng De" called today and previously (it was check marked on CID as a repeat), but I didn't see it the other time.

This new harassing number seems to be making the rounds only recently based on the posts above. I don't answer unfamiliar phone numbers and they did not leave a message.

Received a call today, 03/12/07, with recorded message telling me this was my last chance to lower my interest rate on my credit card. Press 1 to talk to someone, press 2 to be taken off list.  I pressed 1 and an actual person answered, and asked "is this regarding lowering your credit interest?"  I said yes, he didn't say anything, and then he hung up.  

I received a call from this number on March 8th.  I didn't recognize the number and didn't answer, but they are clearly up to no good.

Received a call to my Cell number regarding credit card debt.  The canned call "there is nothing wrong with your credit card, but to reduce... press 1..."

I got a call today (3/12 at 3:03 pm) from 904-563-9668 (Caller ID showed Cellular Call).  I was on the phone with my mom, just glanced at the caller ID, thinking I saw 901 -being my in-law's area code, switched over.  When I got the recording, I pressed 1 to speak to a person as directed about our credit card interest, so I could have them remove our number from their list.  When I asked what this was about, he said lowering our credit card interest, on either our Visa or Master Card.  

When I told him we don't have a credit card and asked how they got our number, he hung up.

Received a call at 11:04 EDT on March 12, caller ID said CINGULAR ENG DE.  I did not answer, the left no message.

Received a call at 4:10 ET on March 12, the caller ID said Jacksonvl, FL.  They hung up rather than leaving a message, glad I didn't answer.

This number called my phone and I thought someone was there but they didn't say anything and then hung up after about 30 seconds.

I received a call from this number and my caller ID showed Cingular Eng De.

I received a call at 11:49 a.m March 12. There was a recording that said it would give me a low interest rate if I was interested up to $2500.00.  I know it has to someone who doesn't know me because I have good credit that extends much beyond their limit and also at a very low interest rate and I don't happen to owe anyone.
