Just figured out who this is. It's a company called Southwest Credit Systems and are calling for a person who used to own our phone number. My husband has explained to them that we don't know who the person is and asked for a procedure on how to prove that the number no longer belongs to the person they are trying to reach, but they just say they will take our number off their call list and keep calling.

I spoke with them again today and got the same response - they're taking our number off their call list. Let's see if it actually happens.

I keep getting calls from this number too - if I pick up there is no answer.

I keep facing the same thing... :( Annoying!

The moral person or physics person that makes telephone calls from this number, must be a paranoid or maniac, because call and does not respond when one answers his or her calls. Could also be someone who is tracking down the owners of the numbers called. I reported it to the FCC.
