They call my FAX line all day and all times.  You would think they'd smart enough to stop calling a machine, but hey it's their time not mine!

they call non stop daily and on weekends keep asking for someone that doesn't live here i've inform them of this several times, now i don't even answer when i see this number, it's very tiresome for some agency to keep callling because someone gave your number out. Please make it stop

I do not need help , have had the phone number over 5 years before the calls started , and never have had a salliemae loan.

This company does nothing but harassment. They have called me multiple times AFTER I've already spoken with a person in the company to deal with the matter. If this company calls again, there will be charges of harassment. I recommend that no one answer phone calls from this number, whether they actually owe any student loans or not. SallieMae should be handling the matter, not a company that refuses to be professional.

Nice try. I received a call and the person said I was listed on the loan application. Far from the truth.  Our names were not.  Amd other relatives were contacted and they were not listed on the loan application.  And my 86 year old mother in law who consigned is called weekly and they threaten to take her social security check.  Bottom line, a distant relative had a student loan, is paying it off, and is late on occasion.  And she works for the federal govt.  so yes I was upset and yes I got loud because yes this is bullying and harassment.

I am an 80 year old woman and just got a call from this number.  How do they get your number when you are om a do not call list?

Do not give these people your information. Said I owe loans from Sallie Mae in which these loans were transferred years ago and I am not in default. I even went to my previous online account with Sallie Mae and they confirmed I have no loans with them outstanding. These people are scammers! Tell them too mail you correspondence. Do not verify anything or pay them anything. Their website doesnt even look legitimate.

For the past few weeks, I've received 2 or 3 calls a day on my cell phone (a number I've had for 10 years) from 866-640-5206.  It's a robo-call with no identifier.  When I answer it says, "To accept, press 1.  For voicemail, press 2."  I won't accept anything unless I know who is calling me (and usually, not even then).  

Today, I called the number back.  "Vanessa" from "Student Account Center" answered, advised that the call may be recorded.  She said she couldn't find a record of my phone number in her system and wondered whether someone listed me as a reference in their student loan application.  She gave me a number for Sallie Mae and said that I would need to contact them to have my phone number removed from their records.  That number is 888-272-5543.  

For the record, no one in my household has every had (or applied for) student loans.

We don't have to verify anything with you. We don't need your protection in reference to any of your calls.There is no real money. Hasn't been for a long time. You people are trying to collect on debt that does not exist. When the US gets their debt taken care of, then and only then will there be some real money. Until then you so called debt collectors are in the wrong and you will be punished for your wrong. Learn the history of this world and and free your mind from of the lies you believe. You think your just over broke job is your refuge. It is not. The more you do people wrong, the more resistance you will receive.

I don't give a fat rabbits fanny if they call me. My caller ID tells me the #. If its a toll free # I just don't answer.
They will Never Ever be able to talk BS to me cause I will never answer. They can call till hell freezes I don't care. I don't owe them any $$$ so they can go fan their a$$.

I get these calls I have never had a student load fanny her sister Sally or brother Freddy any hoo current and up to date on all things the recording and that is all I get says they are Student Systems Corp meanwhile my child is no where near college wish they would stop calling I

If bozos like this company would actually have people on the line I could help them correct their information.  I answered 7-8 times, all to dead air and hangups.  I got tired of being harrassed so I blocked their number.  We have no loans and no children, nothing like that.  I'm not going to go hunt down these bozos and do their job for them - if you call, have someone available to be on the call!

I've been ignoring the same message for months, but finally just called them, told them I don't have any loans with them, and they're going to take my number off their lists. Hopefully that's the end of it.

Contact Sallie Mae and let them know what has happen.  They are a federally protected site.  My daughter had the same thing happen. She kept track of the numbers that showed up.  She gave them the info.  It took a few months but they stopped

Yesterday they called looking for a gentleman. I have never heard of this guy, and told the representative this. She said they must have a wrong number and then hung up on me. I was never given the opportunity to make sure they remove my number from his file. I guess I'll call back tomorrow and do so.

These people don't give up. Even wrote a letter stating the person they are trying to reach isn't someone we know. Seems the person shares the same last name though. They even call on Sundays! 2x today. We REFUSE to answer.  This is pushing me to totally get rid of my landline completely. So much for the no call list! I wonder how long they will continue to call? We still won't answer.

I get calls from this number from time to time. I am not delinquent in my student loans so I have no idea as to why they are calling me. I will not answer. If they so badly need to get in touch with me they can send something via certified mail.

We have no student loans out of any kind and they keep calling with an authoritative voice saying we need to call them back, Phishing it seems. There really needs to be some sort of prosecution of them. We are on every do no call list imaginable.

I received the same call 2 or 3 times, I just assumed they had the wrong number because I never had student loans.  I called the number back and was told they were trying to contact Laura Barnes.  I told them my name and she said she would remove my number from Laura' file.  I will let you know if it was that simple to stop the calls, which clearly were not for me

So you accidentally call the wrong please? Please explain to me why, when a person states their name is John Smith and you're looking for Joe Schmuckatelly and state they've never heard of Joe Schmuckatelly, why your company doesn't immediately cease calling said number?

A ligitimate, reputable company who states they care and want to help would quit harassing innocent people. Now, calling a neighbor or another party IS NOT a violation of the Fair Credit Act. It would be a violation if the company discussed personal financial information with the 3rd party, but the calls are simply the agent name, company name, and phone number.

Lastly, SAC needs to be a bit more polite, especially with those who have received a phone number tht formerly belonged to one of their "clients". People who are delinquent need to sack up a bit, call and talk to them politely and professionally. I have called them several times, spoke with several agents, and they have been professional. Confirm your information, tell them you need help, and be on your way. This isn't rocket science, not curing cancer here, it's simple.

I looked this up using the website that was on the return address of a letter for my x-husband. Good thing I changed the phone number 10 years ago when he moved out. He is always giving my info to bill collectors, even though we haven't spoken in 10 years. I put "Return to Sender" on everything, and explain the situation on the back of the envelope. I know it can be bad for his credit if they think he got their notices, and didn't respond. I know I could just chuck them, but that wouldn't be very nice. Is there any way to get them to stop sending letters here?

been there done that just coming out of one garnishment and half way through another.Seeking information on loan forgiveness/I am a public employee (state)and my income is at poverty level and I work with SMI patients at a state run mental facility. I was told that I could get most of my loans forgiven but can't find out how. Gonna write to my senator.

I keep getting these calls for some chick that used to have my number 5 years ago before i had this phone. Over the years, I've had Amscot, Apartment Managements and other unknown debt collectors call me. Now, its apparently her student loans. Oi.

If you feel that this is not legit, just tell them to sue you in court, hang up and then block the number. Don't call the cops, cause that's exactly what they're gonna tell you.
