Called, no message. Why?

My cellphone had a voicemail from this number...BEFORE the call came through! That was followed by another voicemail. Both messages were white noise and lasted about 2 minutes. Nothing to lead me to believe it was GEICO.

That is GEICO. Just spoke with them. If someone filed a claim against you, they would call from this number to. I live in New York....so it is possible they called you from VA Beach.

I have GEICO insurance on my bike, but have no claim nor live anywhere near the VA Beach area.  So it's bogus.

Got a call from this number too, no message...see other comments that it is Geico? Makes since that I just dropped them. I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance, and it was not with Geico!! LMBO!!

Call was from a Norfolk irrigation and water treatment company trying to interest me in free water testing.

Call from Geico, needed updated driver's license info.

I tried Geico because of there low rates and after only 2 months of being with them I had a wreck and total my vehicle. I thought that would be the end of them or my rates would go sky high but they paid off my new vehicle plus all the extra's that I had installed on it and after all that when I got another new vehicle to my surprize my rate was $2.00 less. Geico was great for me.

They are looking for someone I do not know

A woman called asking for me & said she was with Geico's claim department of whom I had been in contact with on their 800 # the day prior.  Said she was calling to review my claim and how it works and then asked for my daughter's birthdate.  After I fell for that, she hung up.  To be certain I'm going to contact Geico today & ask about this #  I'm also going to monitor my daughter's personal credit activity to ensure it is not compromised

This is the Geico Claims department in Virginia Beach.  The number is legit.  I am dealing with Geico now involving a wreck I was in a few months ago.  This number comes up on my screen everytime they call.

they called me today....I answered and the lady said "I'm sorry, i must have the wrong number"...How does she know she has the wrong number before I even spoke?

I was called, no message was left. I do not have Geico insurance, and I have lived alone and had this same phone number for 25 years. When I called the number back, there was no way to get to a live person to ask to be removed from their telemarketing list. I suppose they could have misdialed...

I have Geico Auto insurance too like others above, but no claims in the last 3 yrs.

Geico called my cell phone from this number and left a message for someone unrelated to my phone number (I don't post the name). He made a point to say he wasn't a bill collector. I've never had Geico. Seemed shady.

It is Geico and I'm a policy holder. The person left a voice mail saying he had great news about my auto policy and left their toll free number to call them back on. I didn't call back to find out the 'good news'.

I think that since my last payment was late that it's a cheap ploy to get me to call so they can ask about the payment. I could be wrong but if they need to tell me something Great they can email me. :-)

I have GEICO insurance and received a call from this number for a legitimate claim.

We have not donw business with them either, but my wife was in the car of one of their policy holders when she was in an accident.

I do not know why Geico called my number.  I have never done business with them and would like to have my number removed from their call list.
