These people have called me on my cell and at home, I have an nonpublished number and do not know how they got it. I don't know who started this message, but THANK YOU very much. The man stated that some legal papers had been received by his office from my county, I live in NC, he said he was calling from SC. The business name he gave was CR & Associates his name was Joseph Coleman the number that showed up was 864-335-8282. I deleted his message and will not call him back.

this number called me more than once asking for a person that i dnt even know. How they knew my name i dont know that either but they gave me an attitude when i told them i didnt kno the person the first time they called it was private then the second this number came up (757)271-8888 no name was left or anything. their attitude continued when we called back to let them know not to call our number anymore.

I received a message to call the number above and ask for Mr. Davis. When I called back and asked for Mr. Davis, the Customer Service Rep was very rude and would not transfer me to him. I didn't want to give him the case # that he left on the message, I just wanted to talk to Mr. Davis and not waist my time. The person that the message was left for is incarcerated. I ended up hanging up on him after he told me not to call them again. I called the 866 number back and asked what the name of the company was. The same person ended so I hung up on him. He called ME back on my cell phone and asked why I called back and hung up. He proceeds to tell me that he told me not to call again. The original number on my caller id from the first call was 757-271-8888. The number that came up on my cell phone was 757-368-8337. We found out that the name of the company is CR Associates but that's all the information that we have. We've tried Google and that's how we ended up here. There is another website whocallsme.com that has a post on this number as well...My guess is it's fraudulent.

This Mr. Davis guy has been harassing me nonstop. He said that he has an "urgent legal matter" to discuss but he is using my maiden and married names, which I have been married for 9 years, no one uses that name. He is calling my mother and mother in law, being down right rude. I called back with my "case number" and some K C Scott guy was downright nasty with me and hung up. My husband called them and they told him they could tell him nothing. Then Mr. Davis called my mother today and said I never called!!!!

The caller ID showed 757-271-8888, and the number they gave for a call-back was 866-656-5380.  There is a long list of comments about this company on number 877-320-5615.  I'm cross-posting this note on those numbers too.
Caller claimed to be Raymond Davis, with an urgent message for a relative of mine, and that the relative or his attorney should call immediately.  Also claimed that this was just a courtesy call before they take action.  Left a "case file" number.  When I called back 866-656-5380 to inquire who was calling (what agency), and what message they wanted me to pass along, they were quite rude, and said they couldn't discuss it.  So I said fine, but if you want me to pass along the message, you have to identify yourself.  He said they are "the legal department of CR and Associates", and didn't mention anything about debt collection, instead leaving the impression there was some urgent legal matter.
