Got a text from this number that said
"Need some quick cash? You can easily get $1500 wired into your bank account today! For info, just reply back the word "PAY". (To cancel: reply STOP)"
Don't know who it's from.

Got a text from this # yesterday. It said: "Getting harassed by bill collectors? We can stop the annoying calls and get you compensated for their harassment. Reply your DEBT AMOUNT for info, example 15K." ["stop the annoying calls"? That's funny. *Theirs* was an annoying call!]
I've been getting lots of calls lately from debt collectors looking for the previous owner of my # (which I discovered by Googling it). Usually all I have to do is tell them he doesn't have the # anymore and they say they'll remove it from their system. For this text, though, I replied with another text that said "You have a wrong #. PLEASE DON'T SEND ME ANY MORE MESSAGES." I thought it was pretty rude for them to not even include a "STOP" option, like the others I get. I thought that was supposed to be a requirement.
If I get another message from them I'll call them and ask in person. My #'s on the Do Not Call registry too; I've filed complaints against telemarketing text messages (with the FCC) in the past, and I'll do it again if I need to.
