Paramount Builders. I didn't pick up the phone.

I live in SE VA. Their salespeople march through my neighborhood at least three times a year pushing replacement trim, etc. I've never done business with them. I treat them the same way I do door to door evangelists -- I throw them off my property as rudely as I can. I've filed complaints with the DoNotCall website, but nothing seems to deter them. A neighbor a few houses down the street hired them to do overpriced work a couple of years ago and now these guys seem to think we are all easy marks.

Who gives their ten year old a phone?

same as above complaints, very pushy! thought i would add my vote to there poor sales tactics, im so glad i missed the demonstration and shingle feeling appt. , i just wanted a damn price. consider me and any one i know a lost customer of paramount builders!

I have been called many times and they will not stop.  I told them I was not interested and stop calling me.  They have high pressure sales with a special deal for that moment of sales pitch only.  It takes me more then part of an evening to spend $10,000.  They claim their company is debt free but they don't mind giving a debt and loan.

Please remove them from calling me.    I am tired of getting the calls and do not answer them

PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS SHADY UNLICENSED CONTRACTING FIRM... PARAMOUNT HAD SENT OUT TWO YOUNG GIRLS THROUGH MY TOWNHOUSE COMMUNITY TO SELL THEIR COMMUNITY...MY BIGGEST MISTAKE WAS GIVING SETTING UP AN APPOINTMENT FOR FREE ESTIMATE... I CANCELED TWO DAYS IN ADVANCED WHICH MEANT NOTHING TO THESE PEOPLE.. PARAMOUNT DECIDED THAT THEY WOULD SEND SOME IDIOT REP OUT WEARING NO COMPANY IDENTIFICATION EVEN THOUGH I HAD CANCELED TWO DAYS PRIOR..... I HAVE BEEN RECEIVING 3-5 PHONE CALLS DAY FROM THESE JERKS FOR THE PAST MONTH UNTIL NOW... I DOWNLOADED A FREE APP ON MY CELL CALLED WHOSCALL WHICH WAS ABLE TO BlOCK PARAMOUNT FROM CALLING... IF THESE IDIOTS ARE BLOWING YOUR PHONE UP DoWNLOAD THIS APP WHOSCALL TO BLOCK THEM.....

Don't you know Suze?  The telescammers use the Do Not Call List as a source!  I've gotten more of these kinds of calls since I signed on to the DNCL than ever before.  Honest companies obey the law & won't call you, but the scammers just don't care.  See if you can block their number (& hope they won't just call from a different number next week!).  I'm seriously thinking of chucking phone & computer & going back to my Amish roots!

Called 3 times on my cell phone AFTER I told them not to call.  Remodeling and I live in a rental.

These people need to stop calling me!!! When they came to my house they tried telling me that I needed new windows. They didn't like when I told them that they just installed new windows when I first moved into the house. Tried to give me a huge song and dance about how windows need to be replace every few years, blah blah blah. When they call (at least 4 times a day over the past few months) they never leave a message, or on the rare occasion that I do answer the phone, they hang up.

They just called (from a different number, but the same guys) and he kept harassing me with inappropriate questions. I hung up, and they called me AGAIN! Stupid idiots!

PLEASE DO NOT CALL, WHAT PART OF LOST JOB THE PEOPLE DON'T GET. WE HAVE ENOUGT TO FIGURE HOW DO PAY THE BILLS AND TAKE CARE OF FAMILY. THIS COMPANY DOESNT GET THAT THEIR ARE BUILDING BAD REPUTATION LIKE THIS.

Omg! They came out yesterday and I told the man signing me up I wasn't planning on new windows or siding for a couple years, he insited on just getting the free quote..they showed up at 7 pm and didnt leave until 10:15pm..and left with major attitude because I couldn't make 500 deposit on a 32,000 dollar job..They wanted me to make a decision about a 32,000 job in 5 MINUTES! who does that if we waited to think about it the job would be 49,000!!!!!!!! worst company ever!!

Scam magazine and home alarm peddlers hassled me until I put up a large "No trespassing" sign visible from the road. No more peddlers. And never give out *any* info to strangers -- they will only use it or sell it with harassment being the eventual result.

There was someone on my doorstep a few weeks ago at peek rush hour / dinner time regarding siding and windows / home improvments. I;m sure this is them.  WHY did i give out my cell number????  STUPID me!

i called the company operator and suggested they google their number to see all the bad PR they are receiving b/c of their computer generated calls and hangups.  she said she'd remove my number and check into the bad PR... forward to marketing.

yes, these persistent salespeople will winkle your phone number right out of you, because you feel sorry for their having to drum up business by going door-to-door. I don't answer the phone when I don't know who it is, and set it on mute when in church or at night.

They call me at least 5 times a day starting at 9 am sometimes as late as 9pm.  It's ridiculous.  I won't hire paramount builders because I feel like I'm getting harassed just from their phone calls.   Very poor business people.

They called, said they were "coming over to kick my *ss", then hung up.  Now they call everyday.

OK, so if we know who is calling, why are they still doing this. Who is protecting the people, the real customers. How did they get my number ? The have called plenty of times, never spoke to anyone, now they are leaving a message with the sound of their sweat shop and its just killing my voice mail
I know there are bigger problems in this world, but this just ads to the overall mess that we are in. If we can't fix these little problems, then we are really in trouble. God bless america

I got five calls a day from this number and no one answered when I picked it up.

I've gotten a few dozen calls from this number too on my cell phone and I've never give my cell phone number to anyone. Apparently they just program their dialing service to ring every cell and land line in Tidewater. They never leave a message. It used to be more frequent but has dropped off to one every week or two. I wouldn't have those idiots work on a dog house let alone my house.

I haven't lived in VA for over 15 months. I have never talked to any of their sales associates. But yet they call and hang up. So annoying.

they called my home today actually and i told them i wasnt interested in being targeted by terrorists. They said they were paramount builders and i never heard of them so i told them i wasnt interested in joining their cult and hung up on them. Also the number showed up on my caller id said "NTELOS PCS and the number was 717-3489. so if you see this on your caller ID you want to ignore it. my wife even faxed a letter to them and e mailed them and it still didnt work.

Kim, same story here.  DO NOT DO BUSINESS with these people.  They are scam/rip off artists.  They call at all hours of the day and night.  Luckily I have Comcast digital voice and I can block their numbers when they call as well as annonymous callers.

Let me tell you all about these folks, there like vampires? don?t let them in the door!! I agreed to let a sales rep. come in and present their product. What a mistake. From the beginning I stated ?spill the beans on the price, give me an estimate? (it was for replacement windows) it was a real dog-n-pony show, complete with lights, little do-dads that go round and the gold watch and everything.  And in the end he finally (almost 3 hours later) got off the price?about $1200.00 a window. Now the windows we are talking about are 33X42. I literally had to throw this person out!!! Short of calling the police. I don?t care how good a window is?

Recently got a new phone line, yesterday started getting called from this number - repeatedly!!!  I don't know who they really are, but I would NEVER do business with (1) any contractor that I don't know or to whom was not referred to me and (2) a company that needs business so badly that they must call so repeatedly.

I too just got 2 calls, less than 15 minutes apart from this company.  Funny thing is, I don't remember ever giving them my number at all.  We're on the no call list too, so beats me how they got our number.  Seriously time to think about going unlisted.  If you call once and no one answers, calling back a second time certainly isn't going to be any better.

They have been calling me for over a year now. They were even calling up to 3 or 4 times a day. I was in labor with my second child and they even called while I was giving birth...several times!!! These people are ridiculous and relentless...Stupid me gave them my phone number just to get them out of my driveway.

I recently had them at my door on Saturday morning, they are overly persistant and i couldn't get a word in to save my life.  They scheduled me with someone to come out to provide a free estimate... I later called and cancelled it and they assured me that the sales rep would not come, well at the time and date of the original scheduling, the sales rep showed up.  I got pissed and stated that they were not supposed to be there and shut the door on him.  Now this morning my phone has been blowing up with calls from them.  This is really rediculous.  I am so tired of people showing up at my door to sell things to me when I don't ask them to be there.  Yeah, they say they are members of the BBB, that doesn't give them the right to be pushy.  I regret that I spoke to them in the first place!!
