i RECEIVED A CALL FROM AN "ASHLEY" ASKING FOR "JOHN" I REPLIED THAT NOBODY NAMED JOHN LIVED HERE AND SHE SAID THAT SHE MAILED SOMETHING OUT TO TO HIM AND SPOKE TO HIM AT THIS NUMBER.  I TOLD HER SHE WAS A LIAR AND SHE TOLD ME TO GO SCREW MYSELF. WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO THE NATIONAL DO NOT CALL LIST?

They call everyday, so like others, i finally decided to pick up.  They offered me a free williamsburg vacation with hotel and brunch, plus bushgardens tickets, plus a 75 dollar visa card or pub tour.  Plus for going on the vacation I would get a free cruise, and I only have to go back to my hometown and tell people how much I enjoyed williamsburg.  That's it!  Sound to good to be true?  She was not rude, but VERY pushy, and truly trying to get the hard sell.  When I told her I had to check with my husband she asked me to call him on his cell.  They've clearly been told not to let people off of the phone.  There was also a lot of bells and applause in the background, it sounded like others celebrating successful calls.  They did send me something in the mail a couple of weeks ago.  It's weird.  Whatever it is is a pretty big structure with mailing, follow-up calls, a big phone bank.  What is it?

I, too, receive numerous calls from them everyday and usually ignore them. But, today I decided to answer - en Español. The woman on the other end was speechless. The best part...my Spanish is elementary at best. All it took was a generic accent, 1 word and a phrase repeated twice: "hola" & "¿habla español?" She eventually hung up on me. It was great!

I have one for you.  I get a call from this number and a guy asked to speak with "Ann" (my wife). I said she wasnt here and ask his name. He hung up. So I called her going off about some guy calling for her and hanging up on me. She denied knowing what was going on so I said "to easy, I will *69 and then call them back".  I call back to a woman answering "Hello". I explain what happened and she tells me to hold on. Next thing I hear is a different woman answering "Williamsburg Resorts .......". So I tell her what happened and explain that i dont know how i got connected to her but some bullsh*t was going on.  She says " Well you know sir, we have Males working here too, he was probably to sell your wife a package". I demanded to talk to a manager.  I was put on hold and had her answer back several times claiming the manager was very busy and it would take awhile. I said that was fine i have unlimited minutes.  At 9 o'clock on the dot my phone hangs up. I call back and then a machine details their hours.  I left a pretty nasty message with my call back number.
   Oh, and I had to appologize to my Wife.....they owe me big!!

I got a call from this woman and she lied to me to sell this vacation package to me.  I took package since planning to go to williamsburg-- BIG MISTAKE.  She gave me her name and the number 1-800-596-8311 ext 319.  When I called back to take my husband name off package as she said I could do when she sold it to me--to just call her back.  The number didn't know who she was or ext. She lied, ultamiately the reservations lied and package was canceled i thought.  Several phone call and in writing to cancel reservations. It was a night mare.  Canceled credit card, talked with police and email better business beuro.

Just so you know, I used to work here and it's not a scam nor are they stealing your identity.  I quit, because the atmosphere was pretty unprofessional as far as employees being overly loud or obscene even to other employees, also they were always blaring loud music throughout the whole shift, but it really is legitimate.  When I worked there it was 199 for 4 days 3 nights, and yes you had to tour the time share, however it's not four hours.  If you are firm about saying no after the 90 minutes you are free to walk away and tell them to buzz off and you arent staying any longer.  Other than that, we used to give out $100 visa gift cards and your choice of tickets to colonial williamsburg or bush gardens.  All in all for a family of 4 to vacation for less than $200 ($100 of which you get back on the visa card) it's well worth it.  I'm not saying the people were always professional or courteous (I was, but I was in it more to help people get vacations not make money), but they aren't stealing identities.  They've been registered with the BBB for over 15 years.

TO THOSE WHO RECEIVE UNWANTED PHONE CALLS:  Instead of engaging them in an arguement ask them if they have been saved!  Do they know Jesus?  Have they been born again.  Ask them to pray with you for their own souls.  Either you will save some or you will not get any more calls.  Either way you will.

They called me and I bought a vacation from them. They are indeed legitimate, as they are the marketing department for the resort! They are a great company to deal with.

Did they call you every day at all hours of the day?  The point of most people is that if I wanted their information I would request it myself.  Certainly not five times a say every day.

They call every day, several times a day.  Every time I ask to be removed from their list of people to call.  Today when they called I just asked them to put their manager on the phone.  When I told the manager that I am getting phone calls from them everyday, several times a day, she said that I sounded like I needed a vacation.  Needless to say this only made the situation worse.  If they call again I will answer and give them the number of my attorney.

An obnoxious woman called at an unreasonable hour for me (after 9pm...have to be up at 5am) and when I answered, I frankly questioned the reason for the call at that hour.  The woman went "OFF" to the point I could not get a word in to even have a conversation with her (not that I wanted it).  During her tirade, I asked that she never call again, and she screamed at me for that.  I hung up, called the police at 757.382.6161 to complain.  They told me my only course of action is to block the number and call my local police should they call again.  Anti-climatic to say the least.  Whatever company this is, their employees (at least the one I had the displeasure of hearing ... note, not "talking to"), are of the most ignorant low-life subhuman beings I've had the displeaure of knowing exist in this world.  I mean, life is hard, but:  <to the person who called>  do you really have to be the suckiest human being alive to make a buck?  Why not try prostitution?  Or maybe that didn't work for you?

This comapany contacted me asking why I didn't respond to a letter they sent me about a 4 day 3 night stay at Williamsburgh for only $149.00.  When I told them I couldn't remember recieving a letter they spent several minutes explaining the deal and then asked me for a credit card.  When I told them I would not give any credit card information over the phone the man started yelling at me and accused me of calling him a liar.  He was very aggressive and I eventually hung up on him.  This company is very inappropriate and should not be in buisness.

After repeatedly receiving calls from these people, asking to be removed from the list, I received yet another call tonight and when I demanded to know what the call was in reference to the woman replied, " we'll call you back when you are not being an a***ole!"

I called the number back. got an answering service. I left a message saying that I wish to be removed from the list and that if I get another call, I will press charges.

This is not a scam people. I bought a vacation from them, took it, and my family and I had a wonderful time. Williamsburg is a really nice place, and we got attraction tickets, dinner coupons, etc. to use there. All we had to do was tour the resort for about an hour. I would recommend this to anyone. Do your research before you decide if a call is legit or not. Man, some people are really paranoid, no?

I have had 7 calls a week from this number. Most of the time I am not at home. Don't thye get the message. No one will answer? The they go into a spiel about info I requested-which I di not request. Very rude, pushy and jerks. Someone should put them out of business.

I've had two calls this morning to my business number at work.  I didn't answer and no message was left.   I have seen the number before but intuition has always led me to let it ring.  Now that I know who's calling, they will be wasting time dialing my number!

Cancel your credit card, thios is a scam artist. She does not work for Willamsburg Plantations, we just tracked them down spoke to a manager by the name of Lisa, at # 757-253-9100. This person is representing them, jus to get your credit card info, for the deposit. Once she has this she has now all your credit info, call the authorities and report this in both your state of PA, and also Virginia. Report this to your credit card company as freud asap! This Scam artist, is legit, so hurry!

IT'S REDICULIOUS THATS WHAT IT IS. I ALSO GOT THAT SAME CALL WITH THE PEOPLE IN THE BACKROUND CLAPPING AS THEY MISSLED ANOTHER PERSON. I WAS A SUCKER AND GOT SUCKED INTO THIS. THEY SENT YOU TO A PLACE CALLED THE PATRIOT INN AND_______SUIETS. WHICH IS A LITTLE DUMPY LOOKING IF YOU ASK ME. IT IS A FREE 4DAY 3NIGHT STAY BUT I PERSONALLY DONT THINK IT WOULD BE WORTH IT FOR ME. I receive calls from this # every day!  I spoke with a mgr Mr. Hill who promised to take my # off the list.  My husband came home from work and they called again.  so his way to fix it is to call them in excess of 30 times and leave them voice mails about what lousy individuals they are and that it is a real shame that they try to make a living by pestering people and trying to steal their identity.  He will continue to call them tomorrow and the next day.... you get the point.  He's nuts!

I received numerous calls from 1-757-410-2665(Willamsburg Plantation). Knowing it was someone trying to sell me something I didn't want I chose not to answer. Finally I had to give in and answer the call. I was not rude or nasty. Politely I told the man I was not interested. Then he continued on how VA is for lovers. I still was not interested,he told me ,fine stay there and do nothing.

This is really uncalled for I receieve 6-10 calls a day from this number and since I know it is one of those telemarketers I don't answer. I am on the DONT CALL LIST but still get these things (although it has declined) this individual needs some jail time

REC CALLS FR THIS NUMBER 6X A DAY, I NEVER ANSWER BECAUSE I KNOW ITS ABOUT SELLING SOME GARBAGE BUT TODAY DECIDED TO CHECK NAME ON COMPUTER, WAS I SHOCKED TO SEE ALL THE PEOPLE THAT HAVE BEEN BOTHERED BY THIS SCUM. THIS IS A FIRST FOR ME, HOPE THEY GET WHAT THEY DESERVE, A TRIP TO RIKERS!!

We get a non-stop calling of 2 times a day from 757-410-2665 where I constantly asked to be taken off the list! This did not work, so I let my husband talk to this rude woman (who wasn't listening), he told her he did not order any information and asked, "Ma'am please take us off the list.", where she replied, "I knew you were an ignorant individual!" and hung up! I am so freaked and pissed off that to make a living they push at and insult those who don't take their offer.  Don't they understand "You get more flies with honey.", and who knows maybe next time we might have taken the offer if they could keep their tongues from striking!!!!

I have received so many calls from this number, I finally decided to answer the phone and inform them that I am on the "DO NOT CALL REGISTRY".  When I answered the phone she asked for my husband and I explained that I am on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY.  To which she replied "You're not on any f___ing do not call registry and shut the f___ up! Then she hung up.  I called the front desk and was told to call "Owner Services" to file a complaint in the morning.  I'm still shaking I'm so mad!!!!!!

This extremely rude woman called my house several times asking for my husband for vacation information.  When I told her we weren't interested she told me "whatever" and to "shutup" and then hung up on me.  I have contacted BBB adn reported them.  Not only did they harass my by phoning several times at night, but then to be rude - twice.  Unbelievable

She said the number is a Williamsburg Plantation call center number and it is from a call center in Virginia Beach.
I have contacted the BBB to report them.

They call 6 or more times a day -
A man asked for a name and I told them it was a wrong number. Then after many calls I picked up and it was this woman - I was not rude, I said "Please Stop Calling this number" - and she said "Shut up A-hole" and hung up.  This is a bitter horrible sad woman.
I called the number for Williamsburg Plantation on my caller ID 757-410-2665 and left a message -
but who knows if it is a real answering machine or real number anyway.  I will be contacting the BBB.
(I used to get calls from "Always Travel" and I think it is related in some way)

TELEMARKETER: THEY CALLED FOR THE UMPTEENTH TIME. I TOLD THEM NOT TO CALL BACK. THEY ARGUED THAT THEY HAD NEVER CALLED BEFORE. THEN CALLED ME AN A***OLE AND HUNG UP. I CALLED BACK ASKED TO SPEAK WITH A SUPERVISOR AND WAS HUNG UP ON. THEN WHEN I CONTINUED TO CALL BACK ALL I COULD GET WAS AN ANSWERING MACHINE.

This woman called my mother preying on the fact that she is a Grandmother.  She was offering some sort of something to do with her retirement insurance or something, playing up the "put money aside for your Grandchildren" angle.  When my Mom declined the caller began to tell her what a horrible Grandmother she is for not taking the deal.  The caller was then pushing, just for some small amount of money and wanted her Credit Card.  Thankfully, we have taken away her Credit Cards to keep her from falling for this sort of thing.  When Mom told the caller that she didn't have a CC, the caller called her a liar and berated her more. The people that call from this number are the lowest form of life on the planet, preying on the elderly, looking for their CC info so they can steal their ID's.  Caveat emptor.
