They called me. No message was left.

Noticed an incoming call on my caller id said it was Geico. I didn't answer & they didn't leave message.  Why the heck would they be calling us? Especially on Memorial Day weekend. I don't even use their insurance.  I have heard of a scam where they can use a number & have it come up as a company. http://www.ucan.org/blog/featured/consumer_sp ... umbers_to_spoof

Received a call from 757-430-2127 at 5:05 pm saturday evening on 3/14/09 while riding on I-95 in Virginia. When I answered the phone a lady on the other end stated that she needed to speak to the Geico policy holder. I told her that no one had a policy with Geico and she immediately hung up on me. I tried to call the number back twice. Both times the phone just rang and rang until I hung up.

1st call left a message for about 2 seconds with a girl's voice saying something i think "yup", then called again couple months later didnt leave a message.

Didn't answer...didn't leave msg.

Never called back. Just checked Google to see what I can see (says the blind man to the death man who replyed "I heard that from the mute"

I called the number back out of curiousity.
1st attempt=busy signal
2nd attempt=connected immediately but nothing on the other end and it hung up after a few seconds.
3rd attempt=no pickup...just kept ringing.

Same thing...not sure if it was heavy breathing or just "white noise".  Message was only 2sec's long.

same here but without the heavy breathing. 757 is a virginia area code

I didnt answer because I didnt recognise the #. They left a voicemail of nothing but heavy breathing for a minute and a half.
