This company is named Excellerated Financial Solutions and they are a collection agency. They called a relative of mine this morning and harrassed them about me. I plan on contacting an attorney on the matter.

Rude and abusive woman calling from a collection agency for a unpaid credit card balnace from seven years ago.  The state of limitations in my state of California will prevent this collection agency from successfully suing me.  So their scare tactics are useless blather in my particular case.

This Collection Agency is calling my home regarding my brother who I haven't had contact with in years on a unlisted and unpublished phone number that he could not have known to give it to them and harrassing my husband who has MS and is very fragil when I called the # back I was told all on lunch and transfered to a voice mail that did not help . When they call they are very abusive and threatening to my husband.I will contact my attorney and have her contact them maybe we will get somewhere then huh.

Calls and leaves a voicemail and has caller id when you call them back. They are extremely rude and dont tell you who they are with, then hangs up on you.

Sarah called for about 3 wks to a month or so...the last message left said we will go ahead and process paperwork..have not heard a thing from her since...

Employer has started receiving call from Jessica stating she is from Cell Limited and has paperwork for me.  I do not know this person or the company and I am not expecting any paperwork from this person or company.  This is an invasion of privacy.

How long before Sarah stopped calling you? It's been 2 weeks for me and she is still calling me and anybosy who knows me.

Who are these people? Same man and woman calls me everyday from this number. It is a Virginia number. But the lie and say the are from my county wanting me to fill out paper work. Now they are calling family members in other states about me and calling my landlord, my boss and wanting info about me.

Sarah has finally quit calling, and sorry, they were NOT recorded messages. She said last attempt was being made to contact _________, they would be starting proceedings. Nothing in mail, we know we won't get anything from them.  Now a new collection number is calling, very poor english, number is 8883794884 ALW Sourcing LLC. 9 pages about this number on this website. Here we go again..........Maybe Sarah turned it over to these people.  Won't answer this either.  Good luck to all, and Merry Christmas.........

Under the TCPA, a consumer has a right to file a lawsuit and recover $500 for each call that violates the TCPA. The TCPA can also be used in conjunction with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act in some situations.  

Generally, the TCPA does not apply to debt collectors making collection calls to debtors. However, if you are subjected to calls from a debt collector and you are not the debtor, you may file a lawsuit against the debt collector under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and the TCPA.

This right was recently recognized by Judge Legrome D. Davis in a case called Watson v. NCO Group, Inc.  NCO Group is a debt collector that uses automated prerecorded collection calls.  In this case, Mr. Watson alleged he was getting hundreds of calls from NCO Group after he got a new phone number. Mr. Watson claimed he owed no debt to NCO Group, Inc.  Mr. Watson filed suit under both the FDCPA and TCPA.

David Israel, defense lawyer for NCO, argued that the TCPA should not apply to debt collectors.  Judge Davis rejected the argument made by David Israel. The judge ruled that Mr. Watson had a right to sue NCO Group Inc under the TCPA for $500 for each call.  Judge Davis wrote;

[The] Court is convinced that a non-debtor's rights are in fact violated when he is subjected to repeated annoying and abusive debt collection calls that he remains powerless to stop.

Judge Davis' ruling was based upon his interpretation that collection calls to non-debtors violate the privacy rights provided by the TCPA.  

So what can you do if you receive "wrong number" calls from debt collectors?

1. Sign up for the Do-Not-Call registry.
2. Save the calls captured by your voice mail or answering machine.
3. Contact a consumer lawyer.

They were attempting to collect a ZOMBIE Debt from 2004. Providian Master Card.  Charge Off.  It is ZOMBIE Debt because it's past the Statute of Limitations for my State, so it can't be legally brought into any Court for Collection/Judgement.  The Living Dead that Walk, but not very well.  If they were to Serve Me, and File In Court, then all I need do is show up and use the Ultimate Defense.  Past Statute of Limitations.

They were politer than most, and used no obsencenitys.  They also agreed to honor a Verbal Cease. And provided full Identification/Address when asked. Refreshingly polite, and bussinesslike. So Please, Be Polite Back!

Don't pay any of these debts people.  Know Your Rights.  Do the Research.

Providian was the only Company ever to be Fined Millions, and Censured by the State of California.  They ceased to exist, and were chopped up for sale to other companies.  These debts are bought for about 1 to 3 cents per $100.00 owed, on a disk of usually 100,000 people. I expect to hear no more from this, until it gets sold again.

I believe all the calls from Sarah are recordings..still I will NOT answer. Hope they some day go away...

They called for my wife.  1st red flag they did not state the company they represent or work for.

Our Sarah must be the same one, DON'T call back. Don't let them scare u. They know your county because of your area code. They told us we have to give a statement to them. I'll give them a statement. Once I buy a whistle, they will get the message LOUD and clear............blow and hang up, not one word will be said. They won't even know I picked up the phone...can't wait. 9:10 am to the second.........every day.

This number is for Accelerated Financial Services supposedly out of Virginia.
Her name is Sarah. Same details as all y'alls.   DON'T EVER respond to these junk debt idiots and corrupt companies. They are like leeches!!!!!!!

keep getting phone calls from this number. almost everyday stating some business that is urgent. looking for a specific person. leaves extension and name of caller.

This number has been calling distant relatives of mine (that I haven't spoken to in years and don't have numbers for) and asking questions about me.  These relatives have been contacting my mother and telling her about the phone calls. This number has never even called my number once.  Pretty sure they're just harrassing extended family because they have the same unique last name and aren't on the national do not call list.

Got a call this morning from 757-483-9185. Since my voicemail message states my first name, they said my name but then stated that they were looking for another first name with my last name, and referred me to a case number in Los Angeles, and then repeated the other name. So I guess they're just looking up phone numbers to try and locate this person and whatever comes close, they will call. The caller gave her name (tori boyd) but did not state the name of the company or the nature of the 'case'.

I keep getting calls from this number every day it seems like. I'm not answering any phone calls from any number that i do not recognize. If it is a bill collector they should leave a message; but they don't, they just hang up. So stop calling me, Jerks!!!
