Text from this number he wants to buy my boat which is listed online for $185k . The message didn't look right given the request and price so I ended up here. Given the history they are still scamming

This was a text I received in response to an ad I placed on Craigslist - March 2014
Text came in as 757-752-8230
Hi, I'm interested in purchasing the Item - NEW - $200 and I will be paying via certified check, get back to me ASAP.
I googled the number and ended up here, with others who have had similar calls/experiences.

Received text about printer I had for sale on C'list.

It's really fun to mess with these people. The way I see it the more of their time I am wasting (I have had this guy going for like a week now) Is less time they can spend scamming someone who doesn't know any better.

Time is money to these pieces of trash-Feel free to waste as much as you can!

This guy wanted to buy an item I posted on a sellers web site. Claimed to be hearing impaired wanted to pay by PayPal and have an agent pick up the item. It sounded kind of fishey to me so I looked up the phone #. Previous reports show its a skam.
I'm staying away from this guy.  "BEWARE"

this person is fraud big time, same thing happend to me on Craigs list as what the person has noted above. Then they asked me to wire 750 dollars via Western Union. then the trasaction would go through....then they were texting me to make sure I got the e mail....that they are obviously sending to me with fake pay pal info. total fraud!!! watch out and stay away.

I have been in contact with a person from this number using the name Adrin...texting me about an ad I have on craigsleist here in Kelowna BC Canada.... Wanting to purchase an item I have on there, site unseen, will pay full price, and says his only means of payment is PayPal.... Beware!!! They may use paypal and pay you then retract the payment once they have received the item!!!! Leaving you responsible to PayPal to pay the money back!!! I had another number call me trying to do the same thing, googled the number and was a whole lot of reading some one else doing the same thing... Trying to purchase your item and can only pay by PayPal!!!! Scam!!!! For sure!!! Beware!!!
