Received 2 calls from this number.  Supposedly collect calls from an inmate in VA Beach Correctional Facility.  Tried to call back to tell them they were calling the wrong number and got "This number is not in service or has been disconnected."

Just called the VB Correctional Facility...all there numbers start with (757) 385-xxxx

It was some kind of spam call. We use to get them many years ago and someone once told me that it was a way for someone to make long distance calls to another number, charging your phone. But this was many years ago, looks like this scam is coming back. JUST HANG UP!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!

its a correctional facility somewhere in virginia beach.

Answered call, their end requested a collect call VB inmate correctional facility, they called our home around 2 to 3 times 8:04 PM. Called back and phone disconnected...

called my house five time in two days and each time no one was there.  wtf??

They called and did not leave a message, I called the number back and i got a recording stating how the number was disconnected.

we rec'd several calls in a row from this same number and the caller id says vb correctional.  my hubby thought someone was in trouble so he answered and no one was on the other end.  very annoying.

I received call at 10pm on 8/22/08 from 757-821-0136 asking me if I would accept a collect call from a correctional facility.  I hung up and called the number back and it was it was disconnected.

I got a call from this number at 11pm at night about an collect call from an immate from a correctional facility.  I hung up.

I got a call tonight from 757-821-0136 in Spanish and the only English spoken was blurred, but I think it may have said something about a correctional facility.  Of course, it is disconnected when you call it back.  I blocked it.
