Says the person is from Virginia firefighters association. Asks for donations over the phone. It is from a cell phone.

They say they are with the Virginia Firefighter Assoc.  I don't answer or answer and hang up immediately.  What happens if I answer, don't talk to them and don't hang up?  Does it tie up their line so they can't call anyone else?  Might be an inconvience for me but if enough folks did it we might slow them down and make the process less lucrative.... Just a thought.

The calls started and they just keep coming, sometimes several an hour. We don't answer and they don't give up.

VAFFA calls 3-4 times a day. When I have answered the phone, there is never anyone on the line.  When I've called the number back, I get a pre-recorded message talking about "this call may be monitored for training purposes" and then the call disconnects.  I just want to figure out who these people are and tell them to take me off of their list.  Very frustrating!!!

VAFFA calls 2 or 3 times a day.  How can I stop them?

I've been receiving a few calls daily for the past week from this phone # too.  They have never left a message for me either.

Recently have received 1 to 3 calls daily. ID says VAFFA and reverse check says it is a wireless phone orginating in Temperanceville, VA. They never leave a message.
