A recording from "Member card services" telling me that there is no problem with my credit card but I should respond immediately.Or something like that. The funny thing is is that I don't have any credit cards and they called on my work line that I have never given out.

It's a stupid telemarketing ploy. If your real credit card company doesn't identify itself, it deserves to be hung up on.

I've been getting several of these calls on my cell phone while I'm at work. I don't have my voicemail set up, so I didn't know who was calling. I really had NO IDEA that these companies could get our cell phone numbers!!! I thought I had stopped all this crap when I cancelled my home phone.
Oh, I just called it back and it said "we are sorry if we have called your number by mistake. To remove your number from our calling list, please press one" So I did. It repeated the message back. I pressed one again. It repeated the message back again.
I hung up. So who knows if it's even possible to remove your number.
And that's shady how they don't even tell you what company they're with.

I have been getting calls from them for weeks. I told them I wanted to be taken off their call list. Now they call everyday and never say a word. As soon as I answer, they hang up. These people are malicious.

THIS IS A SCAM TO GET YOUR SSN AND/OR CREDIT CARD INFO. The recording said it was urgent I call them about my credit card, and that I could get 6.9% APR. Press 1 for sales rep, 3 to be taken off call list. Pressed 3, it hung up on me.
