Woman who called said "My name is Marlinda, I'm calling about your Xerox copier."  I told her we don't have a Xerox copier and she hung up on me.

this lady called our place of business and said her name was "merlinda" and that she was calling regarding our "cannon copier" when I asked her where she was calling from she said "OHH F*** YOU" and hung up on me.  I tried calling that number 760-244-6481 back only to get a busy signal every time I called. I wish I could meet this lady face to face ;)

SCAM. trying to get the model # for my copier to send me a new manual!! what BS. every time i explain we get all manuals through the manufacturer they hang up. its always a woman who gives me a different name. Caller id shows "RANCHO OFF SUP". dont trust your caller id these days folks...not hard to fake.

I just got the same call from 706-244-6481.  Definitely a scam that we get about once a year.  They ask for the model number so they can send an updated manual.  Seriously?  Who has printed manuals anymore!

We get these calls every few months, asking us to give them the model number of our printers so that they can send us an updated manual.  We own our machines and know who services them.  I always ask them "you should have that information" and of course, they always hang up.  Obviously, this is not a legitimate business and I hope nobody falls for this scam.

This is a company trying to solicit copy machine manuals. They say they are sending out updated manuals and they needed me to provide them with our model number. I said "Shouldn't you already have our model number". She proceeded to say that they service 17 different models. When I asked her to remove us from her calling list she said "shut up you stupid b!*$&".
